There are quite a few of us out here fighting in many, many ways, putting our entire life and livelihoods at risk, because it's the right thing to do and because as Christians, it's what we are CALLED to do, clergy first and foremost. @@Valexia683 Speaking for the laity now, not about the clergy, it's precisely because it ISN'T easy that we should be making the effort to do it. We are Christians. Taking up our cross means doing what is difficult, not what is easy, and it's so important that we are always reminded of this. We are called to constantly take the difficult path. Forgiving those that wrong us, over and over again, praying for those that hate us, when someone hits one cheek, turn to them the other cheek also, etc. It's what our Lord taught us, and it is HARD, really hard. Of course we should always pray for each other, and everyone's behavior may look different from each other, but one thing we all should have in common is speaking in defense of the truth together, especially in the church. Now regarding clergy, the fact that it's a rarity to find clergy speaking out about topics such as these (especially in Orthodoxy) saddens me for many reasons. I understand why it is this way, though. I know the clergy have to find a delicate balance between guiding the flock and keeping the congregation from turning on them; I know their role is so very difficult, draining and at times can probably be very, very isolating. I've seen a parish unhappy with a priest; it's not pretty. So I do understand. But again, it saddens me.

@han1218 Correct, being Baptist or Orthodox won't save you. However, being in the Orthodox church means being part of Christ's body, having access to His saving mysteries, and learning the path of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what the Church offers, but it is up to the person to accept and endure the faith. A Baptist - is no better or worse of a person - many live holier lives than the average Orthodox. But the Baptist church is not part of Christ's body, and it is essentially in spite of it and only because of the faith of its members that God's grace still abides. But while it is up to Christ who will be saved, and I have faith many Baptists will be saved, they are at a stumbling block because of the false teachings on who Christ is and a distortion of the Trinity (i.e. penal substitution) and on salvation (i.e. a mental ascent with no transformation, salvation in a moment, snow covered dung). A caviat I must point out - don't interpret my words as saying that one can be saved by good works. Otherwise, Christ didn't have to come down, and sin is not the enslaving disease that it is - we can free ourselves. Indeed, salvation is only through Jesus Christ - by grace, through faith... for good works, as Paul writes himself. Salvation is working with Christ synergistically, being transformed into His likeness, partaking of the divine Nature.

This is really wonderful to hear, true teachings. I have looked into joining the Russian Orthodox Church here in Australia but due to my location (regional, so no access to ROC)it is very difficult. I am looking for a church who still believes in the true teachings of the bible and not what is politically correct at the time. My search continues unfortunately.

Same here. I'm in the UK. I've been chased away by the Anglican church and the Catholic church because I refuse to be happy about being targeted by the r @ p e gangs that plague the UK - the gangs being m z l m and therefore politically correct. One Anglican vicar screamed at me to such an extent he was foaming at the mouth, a Catholic priest made ME out to be the criminal, another refused to ever deal with me again. I tried other churches further away, they all know each other and so refused to even speak to me. I'm in limbo and have been for many years, neither Christian nor anything else, but with strong faith in God. Could do with a proper church for some spiritual support and to learn more about Christianity, to then decide if it's for me. So far, I've been disgusted by the churches I've encountered - but I know that what they say, is not what the Bible teaches!

Natural Heterosexuality creates life i.e. future generations. The g*y lifestyle contributes nothing to humanity besides spreading H*V A*D's & syph*lis ....i.e. is only harmful to humans.

Agreed, in these times we Christians need to unite against demons like sin and pride.

God bless you for boldly saying the TRUTH! We all have to stand up against this evil!

Pope Francis kissed the Quran that all I needed to not become a Catholic... Though I Hope all Catholics remain under christ and even though there leader is astray may Jesus shepherd them through his Glory and love.

As someone who happens to be an asexual Christian, learning that about myself is something I feel knocked me off my pedestal. I'd been extremely judgmental towards others without understanding what most people go through to have to deal with sexual impulses and temptations. Pride was the LAST thing I needed...what I needed was to be humbled. But what it didn't do either, is change who I am or what I believe. The idea of asexuality as an *identity* defining who I am is also something I have a problem with. That doesn't tell me who I am or what to think. No politician should own me. I have absolutely no idea what is going on with all this "pride" stuff.

theres no such thing as 'asexual', you just dont currently feel anysort of sexual attraction, that doesn't mean your one of these alphabet people, its simply just a phase of your life. Glory to God, brother. I’m a former member of the Anglican communion. 90% of all the Protestant denominations (40000 and counting) are descended from the Anglican Church. There is a simple reason why. The Anglican Church was founded on great injustice - an injustice perpetuated on a woman who was a loyal wife, devoted to her faith and her husband - I’m talking about Catherine of Aragon. Nothing good can come of what is founded on lies and deception, not to mention boundless pride and it will never last. Flawed as it is, there are no ‘real’ Anglicans left anyway. Queen Elizabeth II may have been the last one.

I've never thought myself convincedly religious, but the times I do go to church I deeply treasure just feeling something other, something bigger, than this vain and prideful existence that we seem so lost in today. I live in protestant Europe though, and this branch has always felt too ascetic to me. Like there is more to life to celebrate. We don't need to be so timid in the glory of God. For example, I like seeing the great things man can accomplish in his name. I'm afraid the modesty of the Protestant church may have kept me at bay from God for quite some time... or maybe it's moreso the doing of my local corrupt revival movements. In any case, nine minutes and thirty seconds just flew by. I was mesmerized. This is really the core message that we need to hear today. Nothing truly matters but us knowing God. Even by what name we call him is secondary when we face the kind of leviathan we do today. Above all we need to stay firm in our conviction of things greater than ourselves. Stay firm in love, faith, and each other. Demons are not capable of such things. They serve only themselves. We have to lead by example, save those who can be saved, and face the coming trials bravely, together. It is clear that you speak from the heart, and it is clear that yours is a heart of love. I treasure that men like you still walk this earth. Maybe hope is not such a distant memory, after all.

I am an Orthodox Jew, but it is clearly a sin and sin is not something to be proud of, so on this we 100% agree. I beleive God loves you. I beleive all Abrahamic religons would agree sin is not something for pride. + = anything is acceptable.

How does any of it affect you? What is it that you feel the need to protect yourself from? In your daily life, at what piont does any of it stop you doing anything or affect your daily life? Just curious to hear. I don't follow any ideologies such as religion, and I don't know enough about all these LGBT or whatever the other things out now lol to have enough of an opinion, I'm in the age group where we didn't see or have anything LGBT and such. These kids don’t even know what it is to be human anymore, they want to identify as even animals and objects. Lying is a sin against God. These lgbtq are telling children to lie about what they are and also to lie to their parents and keep it secret. It is entirely an attack on all whom serve God because lgbtq doesn’t respect the word of God. They are leading Gods sheep astray with their lies and immorality. It’s okay to be gay, it’s just not okay to sin.

For real? Jesus Christ have mercy on us sinners. It's a month in America but that is just way too long.

I was gay and genderfluid. Living my life while dating someone who was trans. I was an avid supporter of the LGBT. I thought I was born this way, I thought it was the right way and that everyone else was wrong. I was like this for awhile until God came into my life. I was a heavy drinker and I started getting panic attacks while I was drunk. I stopped drinking and I got really scared when the attacks began happening while I was sober. It was agony, every day trying to fend off this mind consuming anxiety and I couldn't figure out why. I thought I was going to a spiritual "awakening" ascending to a higher elevation of "life". But in reality, I was dying. Slowly and painfully because of my sin. One night I got this weird feeling that washed over me. It was like my body started fading away but my mind was alert. I went to go lay down on the bed and I remember staring up at the ceiling.i remember knowing in my mind that if I go to sleep tonight, I'm going to die. But the scariest part is that I KNEW, in my mind I just knew that I was going to go to the lake of fire. After that I cried out to the Lord to forgive me, I started reading the Bible and walking in the Lord's laws and commandments. Doing Sabbath, not lying (I lied all the time), trying to be good and do good for God and the world! A year and some months later I've never been happier. I feel good being a woman, I feel secure and confident knowing I am a woman and accepting. I feel good not having that lustful spirit of sodomy in my mind all the time, it feels good to be alive and no longer experiencing any panic attacks. The Lord changed me, and I can never be more grateful. I pray that anyone who might be LGBT, whether you've come here to debate people or to simply observe. I KNOW how you feel, that insecurity of never feeling right in your own body. Never feeling happy with your appearance, and feeling consumed with loving the same gender. I know it's hard, overwhelming, and very toxic. But there IS a way out. Repent now while you still can. The Lord is coming back soon, whether you believe it or not and he will not be merciful to any of the wicked. You CAN change, you were not BORN this way. Don't listen to the lies and sweet delusions of this community, listen to what your own body is telling you, and what God tells you. Follow the Lord's laws and commandments, again, while you still can. Turn away from this wicked society and the deep rooted paganism they try to make us to follow (holidays, Sunday Worship) find God and live!!! Forever not just the 80-90 years we get. I love you all and if you read this, thank you and bless you for listening at all. I pray for peace on your households and strength as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death. In Jesus' name! Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. I support LGBT rights. Stop saying being homosexual is a "sin against god" when god dosen't exist. Religion is just believing in fairy tales, myths and stories, god is not real, nobody is committing a sin in anything, come on, its the 21st century, not the 14th century. We have to accept everyone now, homophobic has no place in this world, nobody should be excluded from anywhere. Religion will die you in decades anyways because lots of people learn science in school, learn evolution and work out the true way that the earth was created. I use to be christian for years and believed in god, but as soon as I studied science in school, I learnt how the earth was created and how evolved, and I became an atheist. When science spreads, people will understand there is no sin against anyone and that we can all accept each other.

First of all i am shia not sunni so i don't consider sahih muslim as 100% true source Second Hadith unlike the quran is narratives that many of them under examination of it's source and who narrative the event. Some Muslims consider certain Hadith as true after he verify the chain of the narratives or find different people narrative the same event... Other Muslims reject it for other reasons... And yah you will find someone say that Aisha get married 6 years or 9 or 18.. However the only thing is agree on that she was young but mature so a narrative that say she is 6 is false... In Islam marriage only happened between mature people both biologically and mentally, since both party have to ve mature to agree on the marriage .. So No children marriage is allowed...

Its one thing to DO something forbidden or hedonistic. CELEBRATING it is so much worse. We all do things that we should not be proud of, but at least we know its wrong. Bravery is also working and feeding a family and not bothering to vainly judge those outside the Church. No point picking fights where no one is listening. Invite people to Church and love them and let them experience the liturgy. Words alone dont work.

My kids cannot be taught that this is right. That is what we are fighting. To make sure the youth and other know. This is not right. Its its sin. The Bible teaches it as so and you cannot go around believing it is not sin. The wages of sin are death. You don't have to come to church if you don't want to. But keep your "pride" or sin glorification as I call it. Away from impressionable children.

Thank you very much for your sermon. I am from Russia and for us it seems like madness with all that trans stuff. I think private life is only private life including sexual relation. I do not kiss my wife in present other people. I recently saw trans-show a front of The White house and it was disgusting. Only with God we can overcame sin.

I’m absolutely IMPRESSED! I have never seen Orthodox priest speaking great English and great Truth so much appealing to a people of modern age!

Some churches, even big ones, are actually _sponsoring_ those events. _Sponsoring_ them! Christian churches.
