Getting press-on nails to last can be a challenge, but if you think about it, there are really only a couple of reasons that they might not last. I haven't included the number one reason in this because its pretty obvious. You need to make sure you have cleaned the cuticle off of the nail bed. I'm not talking about pushing back the skin around your nail here, I'm talking about removing the invisible, waxy layer that lives upon the surface of your nail. Nothing wants to stick to that. So scrape it off. Use some alcohol or acetone to get rid of any oils or lotions and potions off your nail and away you go.
