Thank you !
If u stick them to your nails what makes the nail stick
Very good tutorial!
Even on natural nails, filing the underneath and tops of the nails after filing the length down, is so satisfying 😂
I didn't order these as I didn't know wtf I was doing with powders! Lol... but this tutorial was straight to the point and so easy to follow! Tysm! 1 question: Did you cure the 1st coat of white, then leave the 2nd tacky? Or did you not cure either?
Hi! I'm glad it has helped. Pigment powders are really versatile and fun to use in other ways, too, so you should get some! Each coat of polish is cured. The tacky layer is created by curing. Some polishes cure with no tacky layer though, if that happens then just flash cure for 10 sec ( or more, you'll have to experiment which gives you the best sticky finish for the powders to cling to) and make sure to cure fully after applying the powder to reduce the risk of allergies from uncured product. Hope this helps xx
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie omg TYSM for yr help!! 💗 I definitely subscribed...💗💗💗
These are only sticky on one side I don’t get it????
They're sticky on both sides. You need to peel off the protective layer x
Amazing love ❤️
Excellent instructions Thanks
Thank you!!!
💅 bravissima 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing video! But can i re-use the adhesive tabs ? 🤔
Thanks ! You could kind reuse them for a quick fix but they'll never be as sturdy as when you first applied them x
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie ok tysm 😊
Thank you for the video! This is super helpful!
Omg I need to get the thermal gels and the glow in the dark
Its 2024 and just found your video! Started doing polygel nails and have the water transfer sticker. My research led me here. Thank you so much!
I use the tape as a design for most of my nails. I don't take it off. I love the colors. There are many different ways to use it. You could've put a silver strip in the middle of the white portion of the red nail or the purple hyper strip on one of diagonal lines on the purple and white nail. Many different uses for them.
What if you dont have gem gek?
You can just set them in topcoat but it won't last as long. If you have a builder gel, or acrylic, you can use those too. :)
This helped me so much because I wanted to design my nails before putting them on! Thank you!!
Thats great to hear 😊
Why not put 5 on 1 stick?
Sometimes I would put several on a stick, it's hard to get the free edge if it has stick underneath it though. Do what works best for you :)
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie Girl you’re quick, I’m still watching it 😆
@@hershekissed 😆😆😆
I love your videos! Youre hilarious and i love that youre Scottish too, like me :)
Thank you so much 💓 I'm actually Canadian but I've been married to a Glaswegian for a very long time so my accent gets confused sometimes! 😆😆 I love that you thought I was Scottish. That's the biggest compliment 😊
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie oh!!!! Haha! That makes sense! My husband is Canadian, so I understand!
@gmitc089 wow! We are like opposites! How funny 😁
Omg i was trying so hard😭😭😭 thank youuu
You wasted my time
I bought the metallic gold and silver and when I use it to make a design on my nail, it doesnt cure under the light... what am I doing wrong
If it's 100% the same as when you applied it, your light isn't suitable. But if you're just wiping it off and some color is coming off but the design remains, just don't wipe it, and apply a topcoat.
The wiping nails with acetone instead of buffing, for gel to stick?!? Genius 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I spent 3 hours on it😅😅😅 Thank you for this 1 sec tutorial ❤️
hi there can i also use a magnetic cat eye at the top of chrome nails ?
Hello, Yes you can layer magnetic over chrome : )
What nib did you get with the pen? I like that mandala
It came with a bunch of wee nibs, but I don't think I ended up using them . They seemed irrelevant. 🤔
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie what's the name of the pen, I'm looking to buy one. AliExpress has alot of stuff and cannot decide I was thinking of maybe something else
@samanthanicholson9015 if you look for a nail art calligraphy pen you should find it. In all honesty, it's not something that I used very often, because I find it easier to free hand with a detail brush but it is a cool option to have, and usually they're inexpensive.
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie oh great and thanks, the brush I have seems to rotate off if I hit towards the end...I need to practice but I. Oval or curves it isn't doing good I do better free hand draw on paper.
@samanthanicholson9015 it certainly pays to invest in some high quality brushes and gel paint. If you're using brushes from Ali Express or similar and Gel polish, you would benefit trying something from a reputable company that specialises in nail art. Either way, keep practicing and you'll keep improving! Xx
Have you tried using different colors is it hard to clean between them?
It's dead easy to switch colors, just rinse it out with water :)
How do you get your cuticles so clean? Mine are terrible 😅
Consistent Hydration is key :)
U explained it beautifully and clear thank u ..🙏
Thank you for the tutorial 🙏:) I just bought the Bluesky Hard Gel in white and I'm hoping it won't chip to easily and maybe strengthen my natural nails.
Do you have to file the shine off? If so I don’t think I’ll be doing my own press on I want my nails healthy and not filed thin
No you don't need to. Just remove cuticle from the nail plate and ensure the natural nail is clean, dry and free from oils. :)
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie ok great
I saw suzie using speedball ink ,its screen printing ink.
Do you need top coat for that or not? That's a definite wow!
It's cool eh! Definitely takes some getting used to but can be really effective. Yes, definitely topcoat or it will wear away very easily.
Thanks for wll the extra footage. Nice to see the differences in color dispersment , too!
Look at me necro-commenting. First, thank you for having this for me to learn from. Second: do your dominant hand first. That way your 'bad' hand is working without having to contend with the nail tips. Your dominant hand is more likely to be fine while wearing them. They. Look. Stunning.
Anyone in 2024
Here
hi i don't have a buffer and acetone so is there anything else i could use instead of them and i also dont have any uv light to cure them so can i just a fan to dry them??
Thank you so much, everyone uses clear tips now urgh
Every salon I go to in America (except when I lived in California) these asian women in Texas nail salons do not KNOW how to do an APEX. It is sad. I trust no one with my hair and nails. You did a WONDERFUL JOB.
Thank you!
Hi what colour is that bright pink?
You so funny my striping tape hell lol
Thank yooouuuu!!! 🙌💛 Gahhh did I STRUGGLE with this before finding your video! 🫠
What’s the next steps
Nect you would prime and apply the product you're using to build your structure. Acrylic or gel or polygel or whatever. :)

Why didn't I think to remove the screw?!?
Thank you so much for a well detailed video ❤
The main thing I want to learn, is how to put the dam adhesive, and u did so fast, dam!!!!!
Hi Eboni. I’m a fan now. Great tutorial. Tried a new salon and had to cut off all my natural nails so no more salons for me. Going to try your method until my natural nails are healthy again. What’s the trip on air bubbles? Thank you.😊
Those are beautiful
