A wise man once said: Stanning/ liking BTS was the best decision ever. And yeah, today my reason of stanning and loving them is increased by one. After watching they speak about important issues also speak their minds through this important event. I'm beyond proud for my decision being an ARMY and will continue to support them as best as I can. Also applying their messages on their speech into our life for our generations.

I can understand how nervous Jimin must have felt.... as he explained in the vlive.. He stayed up for a long time to practice yet he was very nervous.. He could not find the right cue card in his hands so he must be really tensed. But they pulled it off beautifully! It was such a great message and to BTS back at UN is so honourable. They made both South Korea as well as all the ARMYs around the world proud!!

!!ITS ALSO IMPORTANT THAT MORE PEOPLE REALIZE THAT BTS DOES NOT HAVE JUST A YOUTH FAN BASE! SO MANY OF US ARE ADULTS IN THIER 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s+.

Oh~~I am 49 too. I found them early last year due to lock down and I never liked boy band or group before. However, accidentally I found this band, since then my life had been changed with full of smile and joyfulness. My depression gone away and changed meself to restart my life again. I shows my positiveness to my family and relationships between family are much improved too. I am so proud of being an army of BTS.

Hello fellow army I am in this group too. I knew about BTS a few years ago and watched some videos very lightly but during the pandemic lockdowns and with their MOTS release and promo at the very beginning of 2020 (pre-lockdowns) I really jumped both feet into the BTS rabbit hole. Let’s just say at 49 turning 50 during that time it was the safest and one of the best jumps of my life. They are so inspiring and uplifting and you feel that they want their fans happy and healthy and you can’t help but be proud of and love them

BTS proved once again they are not Distraction but a INSPIRATION.💜💜

RM is the proudest & best leader in the entire world...BTS are those 7 brightest stars which bright the most in the whole Dark Sky 💜 So Proud of them..

In my humble opinion, I think it mostly reflects to them. They say, their long planned World Tour concert just cancelled because this pandemic. It must be painful because it seems like all of their hardship in preparation + resources went into nothing. But in my perspective, I don't see it as a failure. Reaching out with more than a million fans with their advocacy around the world, it doesn't seem like they fall. In fact, they just land to where they should be. And that is to be a voice of this generation.

I really liked how they said we aren't the lost generation. We're doing the best we can!

This was a way I got to know about them, how they helped motivating teenagers and young adults & stood up for us..I remember seeing their 2018 UN speech was when I first encountered them..heard their songs & felt so much admiration of their love for everyone. They understood us talked about our situations & comforted us at every chance they got. I'm blessed to know them, I love you my dear 7💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They're so famous and tones of money they have but they're still so humble as always showing decency and try best they can be good role model in a society. BTS love you 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

BTS's appearance at UN is not a coincidence, they stand up on behalf of young people to speak their mind, they inspire positive as well as words of encouragement to people all over the world. They represent the young generation. Through the message conveyed, today's young people need to pay attention to social issues and boldly voice their views.

As an activist for SDGs at a national level, I truly, madly, deeply appreciate the UN's communication team. BTS is the best choice for the SDGs campaign. We can now upgrade our advocacy to change the top-down governance to the bottom-up one at a national level for the effective SDGs implementation.

The sad reality is that although you may think this, very few people spend the time to watch and listen to the messages of the many other leaders that are included in this Assembly. As much as BTS increased the viewer ship the reality is we don’t take the time to watch even if the people represented aren’t people in their 20s spread their own powerful message which didn’t get as much attention as when BTS spoke which I felt upset about.

Needed this! Thank you BTS for once again lifting us up when you didn’t have to. We need more people like RM, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, J Hope, V, and Suga

Honestly coming up with such a positive phrase replacing the despicable "Lost Generation" term to a "Welcome Generation" was a boss move. No one is adapting faster than the younger generations and so many older folks fail to see that. The term success itself is changing it's meaning and anything traditional won't continue to gauge a person's worth anymore! Borahae BTS 💜 You always bring a smile upon the faces of your fans!

I'm proud to be an ARMY. I'm so proud of BTS. Them and their music are inspiring, comforting, healing for countless people all over the world. RM is standing at the podium and on his left is V, Suga, Jin (next to the board thingy) and on his right is J Hope (wearing a mask), Jimin, Jungkook (next to board thingy). They were appointed Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture by their president Moon Jae-in. 7:45 - 14:27 is BTS's speech.

What a privilege for these younger generation amazing BTS what a honor for you's to represent your country

I love how bts is able to address such important issues such as climate change. They are telling us that there is hope for the future and I love them for that ❤

There's a saying among BTS fans that "BTS finds you when you need them", meaning if you need comfort or solace or a dose of happiness and laughs and when you're at a low point in life... that's when you stumble across these seven souls. Their group name "Bangtan Sonyeondan" means "Bulletproof Boyscouts" and their concept was to "block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations aimed at adolescents like bullets." They've actually lived up to this ideal - and their being chosen to represent the voice of the youth couldn't be more fitting.

Thank you BTS for the heartwarming and encouraging speech. These have been such challenging times for the younger generations, and at some point it did feel like we were losing a best part of our lives, but we did adjust eventually and did the best we could within the limitations. I think everyone needed to be reminded there's still a long path ahead of us, and I'm so proud of you who are reading this for holding up bravely up until now, despite everything that you've lost.

These young men are so incredibly admirable. I’ve lived a long life but never seen a “boy band” that has had as much positive impact as BTS. Actually… to refer to them as a boy band is insulting… they are role models. They give me hope for the future.

@LAILA HANSERD MJ is a legend but he's passed now. He can't speak on behalf of the people in our time and thus supporting him today brings benefit to no one but the labels who owns his work.

I appreciate how he is trying to connect the older and the younger generations. I admire that he trusts and recognizes the youth

The message delivered by president Moon Jae-In and BTS were really nice and quite relatable. They gave me a new prospective to think this entire pandemic in a whole new way. Such positivity is really needed to move forward. I feel like the interpreter is an ARMY. The way she interpreted the entire speech with enthusiasm and emotion is commendable. It was not flat like other real-time interpretations. Borahae.

oh my god, these 7 boys are amazing, as an ARMY, I feel so proud and happy because they are the best group I know, their hearts are so warm and understanding. I just want to say once again BTS keep fighting, we always love you so much.

BTS does have a positive influence on young people. Keep it up BTS💜💜💜
