Came back here after all these years. I was Army at the moment this happened and I just wanted to share that BTS’ message was and still is very powerful. Even though I’m out of the fandom and I don’t listen to their songs any more or follow their activities on social media. I still have the same respect for them and I think they’re worthy all the achievements they and Army have made. Congratulations once again, BTS and UNICEF! 👏🏼

Whenever feel down i just watching RM speech
We all felt it. This incredible speech will always be in our heart , be part of our soul and make us stronger to face our life. Those words are powerful and he managed to use them perfectly. I think it's high time for the general public to stop viewing BTS as just mindless robots who entertain just because a company tells them to. This speech has caused a shift in so many young and old people alike that they're starting to actively change themselves for the better; to love themselves in a genuine and healthy way. BTS have always spoken about the struggles and anxieties of the youth through their music, showing their listeners all over the world that it's okay to be a certain way and that you're not alone, but there should be room for growth. Really interesting how BTS didn't just stop at the "Love Yourself" narrative. To follow it with the movement to "Speak Yourself" is just mind-blowing. I myself didn't realise how important it was for us as human beings to start speaking up about ourselves. It's important to get our story out there to achieve the growth that we've been aiming for. I am flawed and I am made up of my past mistakes, and this campaign is telling me that I am valid and that I can demand for a better life; a life I deserve. The sincerity this man has for his audience and for the world is hard to miss. Kim Namjoon was born to change lives.
