I literally felt nervousness take over me when Jimin was nervous. Speaking at such a big level can make everyone nervous and it's absolutely fine to take a moment, breath out and relieve the nervousness. I'm proud of you Jimin.

@@pamcreager2527 I dont know why but I got the impression that he jumped too far between the cue cards, what he said was not what was written in the cue card, thats why he stuttered... Glad that he could manage and continue on... :)

I think he memorized everything on the cue card but human as he is, he also forgets. He never glanced at the cue card not until he forgot the next line. Still, so proud he carried it on. 👏 So much respect for these guys. Thank you, BTS for inspiring us amidst the world crisis.

I like that Jimin paused, politely apologized and took a breathe before continuing his speech naturally. Makes you realise they're just the same as us, and also that they understand the position they're given and what it all entails.

They're deserving to be speaking at UN. Their songs and content gave me comfort and strength during the quarantine. I hope they have many more years of making music.

I am sure the UN has never had so many young people listen to their meetings as they do now, with BTS participating! More young people are listening and taking interest.

In UN General Assembly, the ambassadors from different countries can speak in their own mother language when they deliver their speech. I am not sure but usually this is the tradition.

I dont know for Korea but there is regulation to speak in native languages during international speech like this, even my President talk with our Native language during international speeches but use English during bilateral or multilateral private meetings and bilateral or multilateral private events...

So proud of BTS. They are the voice for hope, unity, and care for each other that we need in this world right now. Thank you for representing the youth of today.

Jimin seems to have been very nervous, as he tends to be in big international events, but in general it's nice to see that they put a lot of effort into presenting their presentation smoothly..with such a long script they could have read off paper but you can see that they made a bigger effort for this than for some other more entertainment based speeches and interviews.

I have always been inspired by them..Army let's promise to be good global citizens together with BTS💜

As an international army it feels even more right when you listen to their own voice without understanding anything except their voice and when they mentioned their name. 😊
