Yoongi is the most laid-back, personality-filled artist I've ever seen. He speaks in Korean at a big award show like he's in his house. He's the most down-to-earth member of BTS. He doesn't care what anyone thinks, he's just true to himself and does what he thinks is right. Yoongi is my heart.

This award really hits a lot when you know their story and everything they’ve been through to get to where they are now. hobi was really trying to hold back his tears.I was watching this with so much happiness tears in my eyes. they are pride of whole Asia These 7 precious man.No other artists have ever deserved this award more than them.First Asian artist in history to win artist of the year at an American award show. . Even though Joon said he forgot his speech but ended with a perfect speech . Yoongi talking in Korean,When RM said,"We're not gonna take this for granted", I felt it."But nobody could have ever bet on the odds of us receiving this award, except y'all ARMY, except y'all."BTS always mention us in every single moment of their success.They appreciate us more than themselves that's why they are the BEST. The first words which comes out right after receiving an award is ARMY😭ARMY is the very first thing and then the last thing they always mention. That part when Namjoon said “No one could have ever expected we will be receiving this award… except for you army” made me feel very emotional. As an army who saw them win their first music show award, their first Korean daesang and now their first American daesang, I can honestly tell that all of this didn't happen just because, BTS earned it and this right here is rightfully deserved with even more. What an honor to be an ARMY. What an honor to have BTS as my artists.

this is the first time in 4 years i’ve seen them be visibly nervous/don’t know what to say during an awards speech. no matter how shocked they were they always managed to hold it together enough to give a speech but both rm and jungkook had to pause multiple times to get their thoughts together and calm down. it goes to show you how much this award truly meant to them

I noticed that too. I was actually surprised with how surprised they were. I was surprsied with how RM was flustered during his speech and that JK did his whole speech in english. I'm glad they still have this feeling of shock when they win.

I love and respect BTS, they are the best artist 💜

This acceptance speech is so iconic

Wooow..Historic moment..Even I got goosebumps when she shouted their name and Butter started playing in the background..Just focus on V's expression while JK was giving speech..He just couldn't wait for JK to finish and grab the mic..They all were so excited and thrilled..We could see that on their face..And see the whole audience also went mad at excitement..Purple you BTS💜💜..

BTS was like hey let us all wear SUITS for the night and not tell hyung JIN. 😂

I still can't get over this moment, they've accomplished so and they remain so humble.

What hit me the most when I saw this was actually the moment when Suga and RM hugged each other first after the announcement. Both of them were the first two members to join BTS, they have been together for the longest, have gone through a lot and therefore understand each other the most. Making unimaginable history and success after a decade worth of hard work, I can only imagine the undescribable feelings that they must've had. It's just so special and really heartwarming.

I'm not an army but it's time to understand that BTS are the most powerful artist right now and totally dominate the music industry. I saw them sing and perform. They know how to put a show and have a tremendous fanbase. Apparently they started from nothing to get there. They are genuinely talented. I'll admit that

@@TheSeriousAnalysist Yeah, this award really hits a lot when you know their story and everything they’ve been through to get to where they are now. They went from handing flyers in the street telling people “please come to our concert” with they little knowledge of English they had, to winning Artist of the Year at the AMAs. I was crying lol, but then I started laughing at the same time because they seem to never be able to hide their crackhead side during the speech😂💜

I’m so happy that SUGA decided to speak in Korean showing how proud they are of where they come from without fear to show it in an American award 💟💟💟

No, he was keeping talking and the members were laughing cuz they thought he will finish but he keep talking , like RM didn't realize that the members wanted to talk ( this happens when he get nervous ). So after jk took his shoulder he realize so he stopped and give it to suga cuz he wanted to talk ( also jk and v ). The members always tend to talk when is a big prize, specially if they didn't expect it like this one.

Only they know how they were truly feeling anyway :) I don't think there is a need to over analyze their behavior during the speech. We should be just happy for them. I was just thinking that compared to their first win,where they had almost zero expectations, this was I think half expected considering they have been winning all fan voted awards till now. Which in no way takes away its extraordinary meaning!

I WAS *SWEATING* when they announced the nominees i was so nervous but looking back it was such a special moment for both ARMY & BTS. 💜

There was a vid where JHope and Tae were talking about how JK was going to start working out and given his "ambition," they were afraid he was going to "eat" them. The laughs and love between them are so genuine and adorable, it's unreal.

i am from 2021 I am crying Why I didn't became army at 2013 but at that time I was 4 years old

So glad they won. Very deserving. They are great dancers and their music is good. Most of them don't speak English well, but they sing in English which is hard to do. Congrats BTS!

Never seen jk and v being so happy to hold the mic instead of passing it quickly

This is the first time i see they're not shy to be chaotic on western award show, it usually just in korea where we can see them as chaotic like this. Love to see them getting more comfortable n not feeling alienated anymore their personality is shining so bright that night.

They're so humble and that's mainly why they're so successful. They went from approaching people on the streets asking them to attend their free concerts to being global stars but still managed to remain humble. Their music is incredible, but their personalities is what turned us from casual listeners/fans of their music to armys 💜
