Cut the gaura back to an inch or so high. Replace the PVC irrigation pipes with ABS or something designed specifically for irrigation. That will be something that can expand with water freezing. Get an air compressor and blow your lines out or install irrigation drains at low points and eld of lines,

I drain from the low points... I think there are a couple of "valleys" where the water pooled in a few places.

My beautiful decade old garden was ravaged by a one year-old Belgium, German Shepherd for three months. I feel your pain son I feel your pain. Thank God my daughter took her doggy back.❤😂 My old doggy doesn’t do anything but lay out there and catch sun shine

Growing the business also means growing the amount of work. Hundreds and hundreds of pots that need weeding, trimming, up potting, on and on. Makes me tired just thinking of it. But, like you I'm up to the challenge. If I were nearby I'd volunteer. The good thing is the ground hog predicted an early spring. So maybe you'll get some good weather early enough to get you started before the big opening.

As far as your broken irrigation pipe goes, as long as you’re going to patch it up, I’d put a draining spigot right where it burst. That’s probably a low point and you have water collecting there. Next year, after you’ve drained your irrigation, leave the spigots open so any residually collecting water can find its way out. Hope that helps 👍

You e got a TON of work ahead ! Good video to show people how much work and re-work you have to do everyday. If me I would make sure the checkout bldg has enough room for people to be in the shade while waiting to checkout so not sweating when hot out. I would think getting that irrigation in all the areas would be top of priority list so that when your done potting or cleaning up potted plants you’re essentially done having to spend additional time daily with them ? Your family is doing great and an inspiration ! We still have more praying on whether we want to expand our propogation and nursery efforts to a real biz for this fall and next year. God bless and keep on keeping on the seemingly sunami of growth work will level out soon.

Weed suggestion help...all natural, and will help cut back on time spent doing tedious work. Use PREEN in established plants. It stops weed seeds. Do not use it in seedling mix, or your seeds won't grow. But for established plants, it's good. It also has a shelf life in the dirt of 3 months. I'm thinking for your gravel walk areas and your already established planters. It will not hurt plants already grown. Hope this helps.
