They are not pets to us are they but personalities that dig deep, almost as deep as our kinfolk. I remember every one of my cats and am fretting now because I haven’t seen the latest two of them since yesterday morning, not unusual because they live next to fields that are alive with mice and baby rabbits. Otherwise they are simply my family. I would, under normal circs love to go to a boat show but would have to leave my cheque book behind because I might buy something I could not keep up. Too tempting. Enjoy for me too plz.

I perfectly understand, and I truly appreciate your feelings. My wife's niece gave her a Yorkie her name is Lilly. And her little mate that was a Yorkie, Chihuahua mix. His name was Luke. Lilly has always been attracted to my wife, while Luke was my friend. Wherever I went he went, Wherever I sat he sat. Well he had a seizure one day and the vet thought he had a stroke. But after a day or two he got really bad. So I managed to get a vetinary to come in on a Sunday so I took him up. I knew I wouldn't be bringing him back but I never thought he would have cancer. So I brought him back to bury him. That's been about three years now and I find myself thinking about him without any provocation. I still miss him. Luke was not a dog, Luke was not an animal. Luke was my friend, Luke knew me, what kind of day I was having, and how to cheer me up. I still miss him extremely. GOD BLESS.

That's a good insight for me what goes on behind the scenes,,, I know it takes hard work , planning etc etc etc as I was a Coastguard doing the boat show at EXCEL many many years ago,,, was fantastic to watch . .. many many thanks from me to all that makes this a super weekend including the local residents for having a disruptions to your lovely village life . Respect & memories of those lost to memories, fill our hearts with pain and sorrow in reminiscence of those good times gone by. Canal tunnels can sometimes appear cloudy. One reason could be: Older tunnels often have brick or stone linings. Over time, these materials can deteriorate, leading to cracks, leaks, and dislodged mortar. Water seeping through these openings can create a cloudy effect. 🖖Happy Day's Chuggerbugs.

Yes and Crick tunnel is very leaky too although we've been through there a few times now. I think your right though, the warmth meeting the colder air in the tunnel would cause the Mist for sure

Hi folks yet another stunning video from you. However I did not expect anything else from you.. Since I retired from narrow boat life .. many times I have been asked if I ever felt lonely. As a solo boater...??? To be honest I never thought about it. I was always busy doing things to my and other people's boats .??? I have noticed that someone has had their boat broken into... unfortunately this is nothing new ... Twice it happened to me strangely enough in the same area of the Trent and Mersey canal... Unfortunately people have no respect for other people's homes... The last time I caught the person who was coming out of the boat I can guarantee that he will never do it again..???? I noticed that you were upset about the grave being vandalized ... Garry ..who ever did this will never have any peace in their miserable lives.. Anyway folks keep yourselves safe and well..🐐🐐🐐.

It is a sad day for you to see his memorial. Does the CRT have guidelines for pet memorials along the tow path? It would be nice if the position of memorials could have the map coordinates logged so that any work crews could be notified on their work sheets.
