yes, in the beginning I cut it a little bit larger :)

If ur wondering about the stitching on the back it will leave a little pinch depending on how big your pad stitches are.

Wow! This is incredible. Can I ask what the materials are for the inside? Canvas, cotton padding and for the tape, just cotton? Thanks so much

I think the tape is twill tape. I would love to know what the "cotton padding" really is? Quilting batting?
