I used to careless about myself. I wore sandals, jeans with holes, t shirts, and no underwear. Never took daily showers. Fortunately, I was employed. My feet were always dirty. I smelled. After meeting a clinician, I realized I was depressed and unhappy. I noticed this clinician dressed impeccably. This man's mantra was "sort yourself out and clean your room". I started getting into men's wear. I fell in love with sports jackets, suits, and blazers. Basically, I became involved in clothes and in developing myself. Dressing up improved my life and my professionalism. It was a psychological transformation. I enjoy observing the process of constructing a beautiful piece of clothing. In being detailed about how I dress and learning from tailors, I became more attentive to other areas of my life. Thank you tailors, seamstresses, sartorialists, and that special man-the clinician. Next month, I will working with a nice man from Iran to have my own bespoke blazer. Once you care about yourself, everything follows in life. Blessings to all.

Alberto Gutierrez - I would imagine that there are plenty of people who fit the “before” version of you (minus neglected hygiene) who are quite fulfilled and contented with their lives, but I’m glad that looking better was what jumpstarted your desire to FEEL better...the two do feed one another.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Reminds me of my Mom she made our shirts, pants, and suits all by hand. I never realized how much work that was until I was older. My Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and Mom all made their own clothes and their families clothes, as well as quilts. I still have a quilt made by my Great Great Grandmother Ida from Ireland.

I learned to stitch hems this way when I was young, from a pro seamstress. The running stitch we've seen being done around the armholes of the vest, I never before saw it done in two steps yet this has to be the best way for regular length of stitches and regular spacing. Pants seem to me to be very difficult to make in the "true bespoke" manner. Working with exquisite fabrics is a great pleasure.

I bought a m2m suit recently and the tailor who measured me gave me an option for the full canvas with machine stitched or hand stitched, I ended up choosing hand stitched but I didn't really understand what the benefit was because I don't really see the stitching of the canvas, so I didn't really understand what I paid for. But after seeing this video I'm pretty happy to have chosen the hand stitched option. Should get the suit next week, can't wait

I’m trying to teach myself to be able to do a bit of tailoring, and it would be very helpful if you could slow down a little, and describe the different stitches in more detail.
