Absolutely mesmerised by the level of craft! The skill, technique, the experience Jeff portrays in the scissor skill, the measuring, the way Jeff speaks, it all just beyond anything I’ve seen. It's lovely to see a younger person having appreciation for traditional, almost forgotten crafts that used to offer not just bespoke experience and unique quality of each piece, but also superb execution and craftsmanship that can't be compared to contemporary generic process of production. Piece tailored on your body, made by hand to fit you perfectly and to follow your movement, body line, personality and life style will be highly valued always. Hopefully, the tradition will be continued. I am a home sewist and make most of my own clothes, so this video was a delight for me. The finished suit looks superb on you. Jeff is magnificent at his trade and I also like his taste in music. Your new hair style is so good with the suit.

Hi Ali, this week I dug into how to wear aftershave / perfume and I was wearing it all wrong by spraying it last on my clothes. It can damage the fabric and accumulate different scents on top of each other. The trick is to spray first and then get dressed. Learn something new every day.

Οh this is hard work!!

Had my first bespoke 3 piece suit made when I was 21. Thought it was a lot to pay but my goodness that suit still looks amazing. So many measurements taken at the time. A good bespoke tailor is a friend for life.

Just remember... ALL clothes are handmade. Be conscious of what you're buying because people get far less pay for this type of work in other countries and working conditions for those people are also disturbing in mass produced clothing companies. Bespoke is definitely the way to go. Also, his tools 😍

@@leechin6219 they are wide, but only because Ali has wide shoulders and big lats, the shoulder width on the jacket we made Ali we would usually see on someone with a 44/45" chest, Ali is a 42" chest.

Your suit looked amazing on you. I know absolutely nothing about tailoring but even I could tell the quality of the look and fit of it. It literally makes me uncomfortable to see people in clothing that is too tight. I expect the seams to give way at any moment.

I'm only 9 minutes in and had pause the video to say, Otis Redding, James Brown, Sam Cooke - this dude is legit, seriously legit. I love these stories. You might mention this later in the video so apologies for not being patient, but have you tried made to measure and then upgraded to bespoke or moved straight to bespoke from off the rack? Folks in my area advertise made to measure but it seems like - 10 minutes in - bespoke allows for a more nuanced fit, since the latter pattern is drawn by hand?

Its definitely ok to purchase if your weight fluctuates! unlike ready to wear or made to measure clothing we leave inlays everywhere so it can be let out, you could quite easily put on 7/8 kilos and it can be adjusted, so plenty of chocolate can be consumed!

How much did they charge you for a suit like that ?
