note: I realized too late that I got the direction of the stiffness on the canvas mixed up, bending the cross-grain is what is stiff. So on a suit jacket, with the straight grain going head to hip, it will be stiffer across the chest to help with shaping and bending forward will be softer.
As tempting as it was for me to call this a "Full-Canvas Shirt" (even though the click bait might have worked in my favour) I did not because I don't want to create any misunderstandings. I don't want anyone leaving this video thinking "true handmade shirts" have suit canvas in them.
That being said, it made for a fun project, enjoy the video!

Thank you! Honestly I've not had great luck with books, Bernadette Banner's Make, Sew, and Mend was quite good though! It covers most of the hand sewing techniques you need starting out and focuses on building foundational skills.

true but no one's ever seeing the handrolled edges on your tie, either, yet once you've seen a handrolled tie, anything else looks dull and lifeless.
