With Alex Albon committing his future to Williams by signing a multi year deal, that means that yet another piece of the driver market puzzle has now been solved.
But with so many drivers securing their futures so early, I am going to run out of seats to talk about if I wait any longer. According to F1, there are still 11 drivers that are yet to be confirmed for 2025, although for the sake of this video, I'm going to assume that Aston Martin will no doubt continue to pick up Lance Stroll's rolling contract, and so I'm going to take Stroll and Aston Martin Now, in this video I'm going to go through all of the remaining seats and do a mixture of predictions and also what I'd actually like to see happen for 2025.
Let's start with the Red Bull and RB combination because those two teams are always intertwined. Although early in the season we know Alonso sounded out Red Bull as a potential landing spot before committing to Aston Martin, in my eyes now there are only two realistic drivers that could drive alongside Max.
And that is either Sergio Perez or Carlos Sainz. Now, on paper, Sainz is the better driver and if there were no outside factors to consider, then this would be a slam dunk. But outside factors do come into the equation. Checo poses no threat whatsoever to Max, and it's that lack of pressure that allows Max internally To be as comfortable as he is going into every single weekend.
