Материал показался сложным из-за того, что недостаточно точно у Мёрфи объяснено, какие глаголы можно использовать после конструкций "He is said to или Two people are reported to.. ". Не видела ни в одном примере из юнита, чтобы там были конструкции с Will, зато есть present perfect (He is alleged to have stolen a car), present continues, пасивный залог. Есть какие-то правила/ограничения на использование глаголов/ времён после to. Если да, то где эти правила найти? И может ли "be" (It's said, She is said to..) стоять тоже в каком-то другом времени, кроме настоящего? Спасибо большое)

Подскажите пожалуйста как глагол согласовывается во втором случае безличных предложений после to. Не совсем понятно иногда в какую форму ставить. В упражнении по юниту некоторые past simple превращались в present perfect, а will становилось просто be :)

Почему после expected to у нас не сохраняется будущее время? пример 2: It is _believed_ that the thieves got in through the kitchen window. - The thieves are believed to have got in through the kitchen window. Здесь у нас появляется после "believed to" present perfect. Не очень понятно какое время ставить в безличном предложении после to

Здравствуйте, объясните пожалуйста первое предложение, а именно "Are you excited to know?" Я не могу понять как здесь работает слово "excited - Взволнованный взволнован" я не понимаю почему excit(ED) а не excite! Если это пас.залог в вопросительной форме (типо заинтриговался ли я?) be excited (с ed) - это быть взволнованным. excited работает,как прилагательное. Более детально разбираем это в теме 98 ok-tests.ru/unit-98-blue/

So at first they made him (and everybody else) think that he was paranoid. And many years after it turned out that he was right and FBI were manipulating. There is something we have to think about here.

И ещё забыла уточнить. Как понимать, какое время ставить? В юните 45 в доп упражнениях (1), есть такие предложения: It's thought that the thieves got in through a window in the roof. = the thieves are thought to have got in through a window. Откуда взялся Present perfect, если был Past Simple? (😢 И так во многих премерах этого упражнения😢😢 Помогите, пожалуйста❤

to have got - это не present perect, это перфектный инфинитив.

@@daniyarlessov5606 такие ошибки обычно бывают у людей, которые не проработали основы, или недостаточно проработали. Правило казалось легким, ему не уделили внимание. И потом эти ошибки остаются надолго.

Да , конечно такая ситуация возможна ! У меня у знакомой из - за красной шапки и из - за слова дед перепутал её с коммунисткой

Jack was wearing a red T-Shirt and a red jacket without sleeves. Jack couldn't open the door and was swearing chort pobery ( a funny Russian word that he heard in a talkshow). He is supposed to be a communist and the police was reported about a treat of terrorism in the house

Ну, знаете, дедушка был старенький, в голове до сих пор "красная угроза", опасность ядерной бомбы и всё такое. Для некоторых этот террор не прошел незамеченным,а попросту люди немного свихнулись.

Да ладно, у нас до сих пор обитают бабушки, которые помнят булочки по 2 копейки))) В Америке пропаганда была страшной, вплоть до начала 90-х людей активно пугали красной угрозой и "империей зла". Сейчас, конечно, они это трансформировали и пугают Путиным и Китаем. Как наследниками коммунизма СССР. Если мужчине было,скажем, 30-40, и на него успела повлиять пропаганда,то сейчас ему может быть 60-70 и более. Если его детство припало на тот этап, когда детей в школах учили прятаться от ядерного взрыва, а его папа тайно строил в саду бомбоубежище, то вполне себе человек может не очень хорошо соображать и быть крайне мнительным. Если у него пошатнулось mental health, то он может оказаться таким маразматиком.
