Your release should be seperate from your approach. If your release changes with your approach without you meaning it to then thats something you need to work on. This product is more for avid bowlers or tourney bowlers, probably not very useful to people who just bowl for fun.

It’s meant to create muscle memory in your hand and arm so when you add the leg motion you don’t have to think about the release because it’ll come naturally. By your logic you’d never be able to isolate one part of your game in order to work on it.

@@jackolson6479 You're not missing those pins because you're a two handed (no thumb in ball) bowler. You're missing those spares because the 10 is a pain in the ass for any right handed bowler. You just need to get up to the bowling alley and practice them. Of course it's best to have a polyester spare ball that doesn't hook and doesn't have a core inside the ball. Also moving far left will help on the 10 pin a ton. I recently switched to two handed after bowling 30+ years as a standard right hander and the 10 pin drove me crazy at first. However.. I've finally started to pick them up fairly regularly by standing even further left than I used to stand when I threw at 10 pins as a right handed standard bowler. Have your left foot slide in between the left gutter and in between that gutter and the gutter of the lane that's left of your lane. Focus coming out of the ball with a flat wrist pointed towards the ceiling. If you're getting around the ball a ton the way many of us two handers do with our strike balls.. you'll find yourself missing the 10 pin far more often. Learn to release the ball as a two hander with the bottom of your wrist pointing up towards the ceiling. You'll start picking up those pesky 10 pins in no time! Also.. don't wait until you leave a 10 pin in order to shoot at them. Go bowl a couple games and instead of attempting strike balls just throw your ball 30+ times at the 10 pin as if it's the only pin that's out on the lane. That'll help you increase your accuracy 100x faster than simply waiting until a 10 is on the lane. Best of luck!

This looks like something you'd see late night on a "AS SEEN ON TV" ad, but something that'll end up in the corner of the garage next to a half dozen fishing poles, a child's broken power wheel, and a half inflated basketball that hasn't been used since 2009. Would be better if it could be used while standing. Plus.... anyone that's taken a woodworking or shop class in Highschool could just make their own version within a couple hours for probably 1/10th of the cost that Bowler X will try to get people to buy it for.

First off, most as seen on TV things are absolute trash, every serious bowler does foul line drills which is what this is for. Second based on all the uber specific examples you gave you don't finish projects or stick Smith hobbies. This is for people who are dedicated to the sport, not Sunday wariors. Third, most kids born in the 90s or later didn't get to have shop class or woodworking exp in general. Especially in bigger cities where you can just buy everything. This is a product designed for avid bowlers with specific circumstances or pso's with small alleys. Its not a slapchop.

I'm not so sure about that. This product makes sense for certain situations. At my alley the pro shop is only open 3 days a week. If I want my pap Id have to wait for those days. With this I can do it for myself, my family, and my friends when my pso isn't working. Also for release practice this is so much more economic than buying extra games every couple days. TBF, I would build this not buy it, but I'm a handyman by nature. In probably going to make it slightly bigger so I can practice hitting different marks. I work night shift so I can't bowl after work the alley is closed. Sometimes after a hard day at work I just wanna bowl a Lil and I feel this would scratch that itch a bit. My little sister could use this to practice in a much less distracting environment. Help her build some confidence.
