True. It was the core function that sold me a Squarp Rample but this with 5 channels in 4hp is amazing.

I was surprised how much they got into the behaviour of the module, very capable. They've elevated into 'samples' in general, any audio, more than just drums like the original modules.

I had been dreaming of a version of samples that allows you to load your own sounds, but this... is so much more! Mind blown with the stereo wavetable oscillator. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Looks great, and very simple. Soundforce has some great modules, and great prices too! Hopefully, 1010 Music will see the section on multiple sample playback, and realise that their powerful BitBox misses this basic idea - that everyone is screaming out for (if you see this 1010 😉).

Oh, if I uderstand this correctly, this is great! Currently while playing live I playback one stereo track from zoom. Bass and kivks hard panned left, other stuff panned right. With this I could have 3 more individual stems in sync.

this is 5 mono channels, 1 stereo and 3 mono or 2 stereo and 1 mono. The manual on the site lays out everything regard USB drives, limitations if you're pushing the tech/features against what it can process. But I didn't run into any issues. If kick and bass are mono you can do that then have 3 channels left.

@@DivKid thinking on the lines od 5 mono files that go through 5 channels of hexmix. There I can eq and pan the dry signals. Would not expect any sync problems, the module is ment for drum samples after all. But need to read through the manual first.

To be honest considering the price of this and a 1010 Bitbox (or micro) it makes no sense to buy one of these or the Tiptop One or similar at a third of the price of bitbox and deal with all the restrictions in handling. Unless it has to be that small.

no doubt the 1010 is more powerful. But 'more' isn't always what people want or need. Having 4HP to do some fun stuff with audio samples feels very different to putting a 1010 module in the case. Nothing wrong with the 1010 of course, it's just a bigger commitment all round.

The size is definitely one of the main point of the module. You could do this easily out of the modular case too, but my experience with the previous modules in the Samples line, is that people really appreciate a handful of drum sounds in a very small package. That's what motivated me to keep on pushing and making this new version.

can you or anyone reading this know what sequencer is being used?

Is there something specific you're looking for in terms of sequencing ideas? The sequence was done with the Winter Modular Eloquencer. While I feel quick with the workflow on that one for this video I wouldn't say it was anything special or specific to making these patterns.

@@DivKid ya I realized it was the Eloquencer. thanks tho. It looks pretty flipping good. I want the SoundForce 606 and the samples 2. maybe another 909 one... but I have zero sequencers, could you suggest any? I might the hermit plus? p.s that After later mixer looks so good!
