Not saying I have one but I only paid $55 at the Comicon in Austin a few months back 😁👍 still haven't pit it in a deck but I love the Art on it 🤩

I started loving chaos warp and wild magic surge after I got some great advice from a friend. If you’re scared of warping/surging into something more powerful, then you’re probably warping the wrong target.

I like that a lot!

I like how you guys mentioned Skullclamp for Wood Elves. I've found that the burst of card draw you get from drawing a Skullclamp while having 2 or 3 random creatures with 1 toughness can be game winning quite often, especially when I've already emptied most of my hand, to the point that I would rather have 1 toughness creatures as opposed to not in my Meren deck when I have the option of 2 creatures with the same effect, but 1 has only 1 toughness.

Turns out Skullclamp is pretty busted lol

Idol of oblivion in orvar deck is just absolutely insane with all those twiddle or blink effects, you just draw like 3 cards for a single blue mana, and you can consistently do it almost every turn.

So glad they reprinted Shimmer Dragon (in old fashion to boot!). That card gives you so much value in an artifact deck (Emry 💙) and is very hard to remove, so there's a very good chance that 6 mana pays off (barring any board clears or counterspells ofc. Love it! Best deal for 1$!

19:00 add Coat of Arms to Krenko and you will double (+1) the amount of goblins in your board every turn!

I was running Murderous Cut in my tasigur the golden fang deck for a while. Just while i was getting the more pricy removal spells. But it did work well with Tasigur. I could usually exile all the cards I didn't want in my graveyard

I built the Prava/Ikra deck after you guys suggested it and tried it out last week. It didn't win but it did a lot of cool things and made other players nervous. Looking forward to making some tweaks and trying it out again.

Beezy is almost done with his list. It is looking great.

I fell in love with Soul Guide Lantern back when it was in TBD Standard couple years ago. Such a great card. So versatile and cheap.

Soul Guide Lantern has a cool retroframe too! It's going in my all retro Artifact's deck.

I bought 5 old-border foil Soul Guide Lanterns, best decision ever (I like the regular art best but the schematic isn’t bad either)

Love chaos warp, but got burned by it so hard last nigh. Was playing my Anhelo, The Painter deck and I doubled it up and used both copies on the same player (2 diff creatures) he ended up getting one of his creatures I just removed from the top back and he got an enchantment that was one of his main win conditions for his deck. Point of the story if you have 2 chaos warp effects target 2 different ppl hahah

I'm probably going to slot Callous Bloodmage into my Ghave deck, because I'm specifically building it as a critical mass Lifegain-matters version (with Lathiel, Bounteous Dawn). So being able to squeeze something like five instances of all my Soul Sister and drain effects out of the one card is a pretty good main mode, to then have the graveyard hate and redraw modes stapled to for when they're clutch. It does even more if i've got one of my Good-Fortune Unicorn effects out and both bodies carry extra counter fuel for Ghave. Also I think this was my favourite Moxfield segue of all time

Ornithopter of Paradise goes in my Sen Triplets deck.

Had callous bloodmage in shirei briefly because there is some supporting power reduction synergies to make Gary work better. But I'd check out the new disciple of perdition (which is obviously way better in shirei) and may be better in other cases instead of bloodmage

We love that card a lot!

Callus blood mage is one of those cards that was made for my massacre girl deck. Literally every mode is relevant for my deck.

Idol of oblivion would be stupid in osgir. Sac it to get your eldrazi, then osgir makes 2 copies of it and you draw 2 per turn. And you can make 2 more eldrazi if you need

put callous bloodmage in marneus calgar. you're right, it does have two modes; exile a yard or make two bodies and draw a card

Drakuseth is one of my favorite cards for my Isshin deck! One of the best cards in the deck for sure. Highly recommend

It's in exactly 2 almost 3 of my decks. Isshin / 2 attack triggers or Shanid / draw a card from him cast (same deck but rotation) Miirym (why not just get 2 or 3 miirym?) Thinking about my ghryson kharn kelermorph

@@scottricks1676 definitely find that the surprise factor with the card has been important for allowing it to escape removal and do its thing, haste is a very important effect for a card like Drakuseth

I felt no Overwhelming Remorse when I brought this spell back a few times blinking my Mnenomic wall and paying only 1cmc to exile a creature ;p

Last I checked, sun droplet is under a dollar... that is one heck of a bomb card ;) Love the lists!

Krenko in an Isshin deck is a monster as well...as is almost everything these days

heyy I also made a mill deck with Zellix, but with the background : Cloakwood Hermit because it opens a new colour and once you slam Altar of the brood, it gives you a second chance to start a mill cascade, pretty funny and effective actually. You have great tastes x).

Wizards of Thay reduces the cost of a spell by 1 just by itself, if you add three more copies of itself, for each opponent, it can reduce spells up to 4 less.

You normally only have three opponents, and the real one is already going to one, so you only make a copy for the other two. Total of three.

I'm building a budget Anhelo, the Painter deck (1st instant or sorcery has casualty 2) and I may or may not have put 4-6 cards from this video in there immediately

I will never forget the best chaos warp that had ever happened. I was playing the mishra precon had all my artifacts out I was super ahead. I chaos warped and chose a random card from their deck and it was farewell. I just knew next turn everything I had would be gone and everyone else would be good. It was so funny.

Im finding more reasons to run more mana dorks just cuz ive been removing landramp/shuffle effects from my decks. I have a Shaile/Embrose+Lurrus deck and ive got all the Myrs in there cuz they're all 1 toughness to ping with embrose

Drakuseth is pretty nuts in my Wulfgar deck. I imagine Ishin likes it too!

Any thoughts on Overwhelming Remorse vs Murderous Cut in Yuriko? I currently do play the latter and I m not mad about a 5 cmc trigger off of Yuriko if drawn that way. It s probably also easier to cust than the new one. Maybe play both, or is that an overkill?

Having just built mono red Karlach w/ Tavern Brawler, I can confirm that Dracuseth is indeed NOT okay with extra combats 😂

Do you guys think nihl spellbomb is better that soul guide lantern in a black, artifact sac deck?

Also with rabble roasing once u play the card underneath u still get to keep the enchantment for 5 mana you dig 5 cards deep play something for free! And u have this insaine token generator that stays around even after u got ur intended value this card should be so expensive tbh

I run Korvald as my commander for my goblin tribal deck because it's flavor is totally on theme, with goblins often sacrificing themselves to dragons in the lore, but they also care about sacrificing a ton of goblins, which is just gravy with Korvald, but that being said, I have quite LITERALLY had Krenko Tin Street Kingpin win the entire game because I got it out on turn 2 and it just ran away with the game because I got the pressure put on early and it just inevitably made a crap ton of tokens since it didn't get blown up. It's not nearly as powerful as Krenko Mob Boss, but that doesn't mean it should be overlooked. Krenko Kingpin is better than he appears. Give it a Claws of Valakut and REALLY watch it go to town. 🤣

How heavy on creatures do you think youd need for overwhelming remorse?

Put Ornithopter in my Alela deck I'm working on. Flying and an artifact? Seems legit to me.

eyyy, nim death mantle ashnods alter for the callous bloodmage, gain infinite life at the least with the pest it creates. lotsa other cards you'd want for infinite colorless but still.

Guys whats up. I keep asking questions on ur posts and getting answers. I got another one. I was watching an old video you guys did on unplayable cards. And u were saying aerherize is bad cuz someone can still attack on their main phase/second phase even after u use it. And I'm confused. I tried to look at the rules but don't understand it. It seems like there's a different rule for "multiplayer" games. Can someone explain. Im still trying to learn the game. Thanks. Go moxfield!

Could you link the video? The issue with Aetherize is that it only hits attacking creatures (sparing creatures you don't want to attack with and other types of permanents) and - more importantly - it only hits one player. So it's way more situational than other similar spells.

I found us talking about Aetherize in an "Unplayable" video, but we don't say they can attack again, I say they could play their cards postcombat, maybe that was the confusion?

OK the topic of nature's claim, have you tried sylvan reclamation if your running green/white? I think it doesn't see play because it's 5cmc, but with basic landcycle slapped on its a homerun. Plus it's exile not destroy, at instant speed.

Drakuseth can target the same target for the 3 damage outputs, each instance of damage from Drakuseth on the trigger must have different targets
