Out of all of the videos that you guys make, i think budget bombs is the series that most makes me excited to play magic! It’s so cool that I could just go out and buy any of these cards without having a second thought about the price. $1 and under is perfect! Thanks guys! P.s. i also love that you guys cover the essentials, like ramp and dual lands. I don’t know how many times I’ve wanted to build a non green deck with a high cmc commander, and not done so, because I couldn’t afford good mana rocks and duals

Taken from rules clarification for volcanic torrent: “For example, say the first spell you cast in a turn has cascade and that cascade ability causes you to cast Volcanic Torrent. Then Volcanic Torrent’s cascade ability causes you to cast another spell. When Volcanic Torrent resolves, X will be 3.” What a house this card is.

Planechase commander is awesome

Might be worth mentioning "Into the North" when talking about snow lands and budget cards. Getting a non-basic snow dual into play for just 2 mana is a great 99 cent ramp option.

I love all of these cards! It's amazing hoe much better a deck can be with just efficient, synergistic uncommons and bulk-rares. Sometimes people just get too hyped for overly-expensive cards when these can really improve the strength of your deck for forty dollars less. Great video as always!

Poison-Tip Archer is so underrated. I love the card and that Reach is so much more relevant then it seems too. I once stalled an Atraxa deck with it because they didn't have the removal for it and didn't want to attack into it since I was also reanimator. It allowed me time to get mana for Prossh and close the game by sac'ing the tokens.

Diluvian Primordial on my Volo deck 💜✨ Reconnaissance Mission, Duelist's Heritage and Perplexing Test are amazing too, love budget but efective cards.

I love how U show the off topic cards now, it's so much easier to follow what U R talking about Keep up the great work 😁

Regarding a budget eternal witness I really like timeless witness. Like Tamiyo it's four mana but you get the body and can recur it later for 4/4 and another card.

It’s better than EW in token decks actually, since the eternalize makes a token and you usually have tons of mana floating

Incredible episode from the Nerds. Almost every card is obscure, cheap and a House. This really helped me out, thanks!

-Elspeth conquers death is what I call a slow punch card, you see it there it takes some time to reach it's full potential, you have time to deal with it. -Will the real Grave Titan please stand up? Sepulchral Primordial stands up -Mogg War Marshal, one of Wort, Boggart Aunties favorite gobbo's -Scavenging Ooze= CLASSIC EDH card -Liquimetal Torque, super underrated. I love turning stuff into an artifact to steal it or get some artifact only benefit -All those Kaldheim common lands are awesome with the land type -Poison-Tip Archer: Watch WOTC make it a rare in a MM-like set, such an awesome card *Kogla is close to a dollar, special shout out to King Kong of the MTG world, a great budget bomb.

Funny story, a friend of mine borrowed my scarab god reanimator deck that runs both diluvian and sepulchral primordials. They had both the scarab god and training grounds out and kept on stealing things from the mimeoplasm players graveyard. At one point the Mimeoplasm player self milled an In Garruk's wake and my friend had the diluvian primordial in the graveyard... that Diluvian primordial was essentially a 2 mana one sided board wipe +.

I keep telling everyone that angel of ruin is an amazing card and I can't believe it's been so cheap. So many good cards slip through the cracks these days with the amount of product that has been consistently put into rotation.

I use perplexing test in my Volo deck, glad to see it getting a mention here

These cards are budget but watching a budget bombs video isn't because I always end up buying more cards! I now realize I was thinking about incarnation technique all wrong. Seems quite strong. Thanks as always for the sage advice.

Yes I’ve been running Incarnation technique in R/B Chainer and it does work! Mill 10 and get your two best creatures and choose the opponent with the least likelihood of getting anything good. It can take you from not doing anything to being the biggest threat.

Thanks for bringing up Cathar Commando and Outland Liberator. Can’t believe how overlooked they were when they were revealed. They are just some of the best budget cards from the last year, going along the lines of Maskwood Vandal. Suddenly Thrashing Brontodon just got a serious upgrade, and no one is talking much about it. (Plus the werewolf has sick alt art!)

Yup Rionya is my favorite red mana commander.

Volcanic Torrent counts itself and the Cascade so its 2 dmg to all creatures you dont controll without casting any other spells that turn. I got this in the Prosper deck as its super easy to cast multiiple spells before with all the treshures and the cascade even makes a new treshure since its cast from exile

Also if you're running snow duels you can run Into the North. If you were gunna run rampant growth you can switch it and get duelies

I have a rionya deck and it’s the most fun thing in my Arsenal. Extra combats and instants galore. She steals games all on her own

I run incarnation in like three decks. ITS SOO GOOD

Angel of the Ruins seems great in a Mayael deck where you need a lot of big creatures in the deck, but don’t want too many in muddying up your hand

I still remember using my flash clone to get another Diluvian Primordial. I countered one creature, and exiled another. It saved my hide, and in decks that can abuse it, it's noice.

Reconnaissance Mission is one of my favorite cards. If you want Bident of Thassa in your deck, Recon Mission is basically another copy of that.

Overflow Chalice is my fav 2 mana rock

Rianya is going to slot RIGHT into my Brudiclad 7 dwarves deck

Incarnation technique is so so good, better than ever after imo. And it can be used to annoy an opponent or help one if you want to make friends

Tamyio is hilarious against wheel effects. "Oh I draw 7 from your wheel. Thanks" I am playing cathar commando in my voltron equipment deck, because flash is also equal to haste ;)

I completely forgot about Duelist’s Heritage. That’s going in my Zabaz the Glimmerwasp deck :)

One card that fits this list is fall of the titans. If you manage to cast it for it's surge cost you can actually finish two players. It does wonders for decks with big mana, like neheb the eternal.

Totally forgot volcanic torrent existed! Seems great even in non budget. Perfect for my prosper deck! Gonna add it

It's mind-boggling how we can all sit here, around 2 years after Covid changed the world and the lives we live, and still have people so fragile they're unwilling to wear a mask. Liquimetal torque goes great in my gruul goblins deck, especially when I have trashmaster out, remove whatever I want whenever I want!

Completely agree on Undead Butler. I also like the primordial picks, awesome cards. For you Budget Combo players out there who want a burst of cards, check out Necrologia. Edit: I also really love liquimetal torque in my chainer deck in combination with Soldevi Adnate.

I don't know the US prices but Sigil of the Empty Throne costs almost nothing and the amount of angels created by that thing is insane. It's easy for me to create between 5-10 angels on the board with my Siona deck in a single turn.

Incarnation technique is devastating for reanimator strats… Araumi takes it to a whole other level. Graveyard fodder for araumi plus some reanimation in the process? Yes please

Diluvian is good eaven against creature decks since ramp is averywhere as well as removal and card draw. It s a hard to make an all permanent deck work as well as a normal deck

I totally feel like Duelist Heritage isn't used enough lol it's a great card I run in my Arahbo deck.

Been running Rionya in my Winota deck so that's a given. But wow Duelist's Heritage...i think i might slap it on my Kyler deck. fun little political tool.

I also feel like cheaper decks are a lot stronger, but I feel like synergy decks have in some cases (IE if they use a well supported synergy, like landfall or reanimation) have gotten tons of goodies. There have been so many good support cards printed that make formerly joke decks viable. Liquimetal Torque in mono-Red is really great because it's one of the best ways to blow up an Enchantment. Creatures can already be killed by red, it's just expensive usually (IE bad), but Red has pretty much Chaos Warp to answer Enchantments. Red is really, really good at killing artifacts, but really bad at killing many other permanents, this makes Red good at killing everything arguably. Red even has creatures that can repeatedly blow up an artifact like Gorilla Shaman or Viashino Heretic, add in Torque and people are not having fun. Krosan Verge is pretty solid ramp/fixing, I don't know why it's not more used. If you want to run Disenchant, you could also consider Devout Witness. It's stapled to a body, and it can repeatedly generate a Disenchant if you need to. Good on a budget! Why is it such a big deal to wear a mask?? People are really dumb when it comes to protecting people other than themselves (and many are negligent towards their own safety fwiw).

Great video and I agree with nearly all the choices. You mentioned the blue and black Primordials and they're solid. How do you feel about the white one, Luminate Primordial?
