To complete the Blind obedience subject, Authorithy of the consul is super powerful too. Doesn't stop artifact but it gains you a ton of life without investing mana in it and it costs one less. I find myself playing Authorithy more thand obedience because it just sits there doing is thing whithout investing anything else, and when played turn one, it usually gains 15 to 25 life over the course of a game for 1 mana, which is fantastic. Obedience is great too, but a bit too mana intensive for me to really get a full effect out of it

haze of rage math: (with the 3 mana discount) C= kreatures that are attacking S= Storm count bevor the first haze R= your amount of red B= the damage you ad on the first cast of haze you get B(1)=C*(S+1) two casts: B(2)=C*(S+2)+B(1)=C*(S*2+1+2) three casts: B(3)=C*(S+3)+B(2)=C*(S*3+1+2+3) with that we can conclude B(R)=C*(S*R+SUM) the SUM part can be calculated by the Gaussian Sum Formula: SUM=R*(R+1)/2 put all togeter and you get B=C*(R*(2*S+R+1)/2) example: you attack wit 5 creatures and have 3 red open and the stormcount is on 2 B=5*(3*(2*2+3+1)2) B=5*12=60 Ps: if you need the amount of magecraft triggers use the SUM part.

Blind obedience with old-magic rules would've been brutal... chef's kiss as someone would say... To those young enough to not know this: in the old days when the earth was still warm and magic was a new game, a tapped artifact was basically disabled so tapping an opponent artifacts was a thing. NOTICE: "Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, Witch. I was there when it was written" is not an acceptable response to this comment.

"Lim-Dul's Vault" into a "Escape to the wilds" is very OP... same goes with "Sensei's Divining Top"... top deck manipulation with a card that let's you play the top cards is always op.

I'm thinking of including Haze of Rage into my Krenko deck to kill my opponents... so hear me out: Play 4 generic goblins, Play Mana Echoes, Play Skirk Prospector, Activate Krenko's ability and create 6 tokens, now you have basically 36C, sac the 6 tokens and the 4 generic goblins to the prospector, now you have 10R, Haze of Rage a 10 times (+55/0), Play Rupture and sac Krenko, each creature and player loses 58 life. GG. WP. BTW, no one win with this combo, notice that Rupture deals damage to each player, not opponent. Just thought it would be funny to pull it off xD

Oh archfiend of ifnir can be an absolute bitch, i helped my brother build a pretty high power raffine deck, and if you can't kill ifnir when it comes down, raffines connives will just constantly wipe your board. Also turns out, raffine honestly probably the strongest commander of the year, you don't realise how powerful she is until you play against her

wizards of thay attacking doesnt even mean its a one turn thing, you could just play a maze of ith or the ixalan one, attack, trigger, maze the original one to protect it, cast lots of spells, repeat next turn... now your opponents need to spend removal on it? why not put swiftfoot boots to protect it? now you have a repeatable engine of value.
