If you buy a quality power bar and a small space heater that doesn't use copious amounts of power it's fine, I've had one plugged in on my desk at work (the area I'm in is cold because of computers) for weeks now on every day and it's perfectly fine

That's only because you're not pushing it to the limits, which is what most people end up doing, which results in their house catching fire

Those small desk-size heaters draw about 300-400 watts .. perfectly safe for a decent power bar .. the room heaters draw 1500 watts .. much different story.

No offense, but I think he missed out on why propane heaters are not to be used indoors unless you've opened a window. They produce carbon monoxide. ' silent killer'' will and will do so. Albeit safe and ok for use in a well ventilated garage and for camping outside. I've a buddy heater, works great. But please be sure to open a window.😊
