Dry mouth can be a sign that someone is lying. When someone is anxious, their saliva production and blood flow to the digestive tract decrease, which can lead to a dry mouth. This can cause people to swallow more, which can be difficult without saliva. They might also lick or bite their lips.

110% she got off the phone to go take care of some kind of evidence. Those 2 sound extremely guilty by trying to act non-chalant and even annoyed...the annoyance comes from someone who is guilty and is getting angry at too many questions because they dont want to accidentally get cornered into something they cant answer. always be wary of people who give the bare minimum in a crisis, and people who give too much irrelevant information. They are too rich and she had been there far too long to randomly die on the steps from dogs. I still believe it was Pauls fault, but that Alec may have suggested it. He's an angry drunk and he quickly gets angry on the 911 call. I believe he was drunk and pushed her and his mother then only saw Gloria as an threat and had to be taken care of so no one looks at her baby boy.

That's how it is with rich people. They draw a clear line between themselves and the help. I used to clean for some of the Koch families. One of them had an old laundry lady who started out as a nanny. When the kids grew up, she became their house keeper. When she got too old, she would putter around and water plants and do the occasional laundry load. I asked A.K., "How old is B?" A. K. Replies, "oh you never know with black people. " 😳

As someone who had a happy, healthy life and found myself in a serious opiate addiction, I can relate to the lies and theft. What I don’t understand is his saying that as his addiction progressed, he became paranoid. For me, I didn’t give two sh*ts about the crimes I committed under the influence. Being sober makes me question my decisions and I actually have a conscience. I would think that being paranoid would be a side effect of other drugs but not opiates. I was addicted for 17 years and it led me down some roads that revealed the worst version of myself. But, I would never be capable of shooting someone. It’s something that I believe you either can or you can’t despite outside influences. I don’t know why he even took the stand. I think it’s one of those things where people think “if I admit to all the horrible things that I did, I can safely deny the one I don’t want to admit to and should be believed since I’m showing how honest and vulnerable I am”. There’s no other reasonable explanation for it being anyone else but him.

@@nicolaxoxo1at the height of my opiate addiction, I was taking 40-60 pills a day , along with copious amounts of meth . I burned through half a million dollars in a few years , lots of bad choices and over compensation to my family out of guilt and just trying to survive day to day to keep up with my need for drugs. I had to go get a tb test for my first treatment I went to . There was a student doctor there that asked to interview me for a paper for his class . At the end he had tears in his eyes and said I should be dead and there is no answer as to why my liver wasn’t shot . He said he could not understand how I was alive with the ammt of drugs I ingested daily . I was 15 years away from sobriety that day . I was still off to the races for many years to come .
