Neil's mom: She seemed depressed. Umm, if she was, could you blame her?? She's constantly cleaning and taking care of the baby without any help from Neil. Then he ran up ~$100k in debt behind her back. She was stressed and exhausted. I'd get a little melancholy, too. But that doesn't make her a killer or suicidal. That mom is delusional with wishful thinking that her son didn't do it.

I have a nervous laugh in very serious situations or dire situations or if i’m very uncomfortable. I hate it and look like a psychopath, but I can’t help it. Im not defending that he’s not a monster, but sometimes things aren’t what they seem. Just saying, but in this situation, I guaranteed he’s just a scumbag monster, and there is nothing behind it.

I lived with Neil for 1 year at University. He came across as the nicest, most humble, most honest guy you could meet. He had a good sense of humour and kept himself to himself. I met Rachel at that time also, and they appeared to be completely in love with each other. I only came round to accepting his guilt when I saw the full evidence against him, at which point I was overcome with a chill to my bones, realising how his mask had fooled myself and others completely and brilliantly. One correction to your video - she was not upgraded to the men's team but, to my knowledge, was a cox - ie the person who sits in the boat and directs the rowing but does not row themself

I live in the next town (Worksop is a town) my cousin also went to the same school as Neil and described him as a creep with no real friends. His parents first tried to raise funds for the legal fees from the local community, but due to the local papers excellent reporting on this story they received very little. His father has also written a book again to raise funds but it is a work of fiction by a delusional man.

Yep, like fellow family annihilator Chris Watts, Neil Entwistle's decidedly creepy parents provide some explanation of how he grew up so toxic, narcissistic and entitled that he actually believed he could kill people who loved and trusted him, when they became inconvenient to him. Imagine starting a 'Go Fund Me' to pay the legal fees of your wife-and-baby-murdering son! It truly beggars belief. Why the eligible Rachel ever looked twice at the ugly, inadequate prick, Lord only knows. But abusers like him typically 'love bomb' the object of their romantic interest in the first stage of courtship, to push them to commit to them. Once the victim has been seduced by their flattery into believing they truly love them, and agreed to marry/move in with them, their happiness and in extreme cases like this their life (and the lives of any children) are in danger. Children should be taught about the 'Cycle of Narcissistic Abuse' at school, it generally follows a very predictable pattern. If potential victims only learned to recognise the MO of these abusers, many lives could be saved and much misery avoided. I'm just glad Entwistle committed his atrocities in the US where they lock you away for life, and not here in his native UK where he'd have likely been released for good behaviour after 10 years! The evil freak is exactly where he belongs, in a locked cage - how tragic beautiful Rachel and Lily had to die to put him there.

I live in the UK and remember this case as if it were yesterday. Neil Entwistle is a horrible, narcissist who did not want to be a husband and father. His parents were totally deluded as so many parents of murderers are. Poor Rachel and baby Lily this is such a sad and terrible story. Seeing little Lily's face in the photograph she is the image of her father. He looked into that face, probably slapped her as well, before killing her. I hope he never gets released from prison.

His reaction to the photo of his dead wife and daughter made me gasp so loud because I could NOT believe what I was seeing! That is someone who is legitimately evil. My deepest condolences to the family for their tragic and senseless loss.

Here's the thing: never, ever get a credit card. I know it might be hard for many not to, but the problem is that it's so easy to get in debt with credit cards. It is tempting to buy things to pay back later, which often results in people getting more than they can actually keep up with financially.

What the HELL does having a credit card have to do with the two tragic deaths portrayed in this episode? If this is an attempt to demonstrate some sort of Financial Intelligence you have defeated yourself by your lack of intelligence in putting your comment here. Makes you look callus, disconnected from reality, and insecure about your intelligence. Does this action honor Jesus Christ? Your channel has nothing but church stuff on it - the Church of Satan has more respect for the dead.

Sadly I " listen" to a lot of true crime while I'm going to sleep. This is one channel that I choose to listen to wide awake. His cases are pretty interesting.

This story just reinforces the idea that real monster's walk among us.

Those moments when he smiled and laughed actually sent a chill down my spine. Even the worst serial killers have managed to control their impulses at trial! This guy really makes me want to reconsider the possibility of pure evil/possession, and that scares me as well!

I love how we have the exact same reaction to things, like your "get the f#%k outta here!" remark. I literally said the exact same thing at the same time!

In NO way am i underminiing the severity of the devastating losses in this case.. but..... that re-enactment with the doll made my day. lol You gotta do more of that, it took me by surprise. Love the addition! Appreciate your hard efforts and videos!

Thanks for covering this case - I was hoping you would. I’m British and well remember this shocking crime. Neil’s parents were never able to reconcile themselves to their son’s guilt.

Oh god, imagine the poor cop seeing the face of little lily, heartbreaking.

Hahahaha, as a true crime fan, and current psychology/ forensics student, my search history is insane. I always tease my husband saying the feds are flagging me. 😂 Love your videos, keep up the amazing work!

I have been watching you since season one episode one, and when I say I was rolling at the sex websites and your comments, I was literally on the floor rolling! I’m so glad that sometimes you can turn something so disgusting into a little bit of humor. You are one of a kind!

I'd like to add a big thank you for the Domestic Hotline/Suicide Hotline numbers at the end of every video...... As a survivor of 20 years of domestic violence,I can only say I wish there was something like this back in the 1990's when I was going thru it. The best I had was an old fashioned phone book,and many times I sat with that book on my lap trying to convince myself to just call. I never did. The anonymity of the internet,and the added page to hide the site would have possibly given me the courage to do it........ I truly hope that somewhere out there someone has seen this and saved themselves from abuse,or even saved their own lives........ Thank you🌻

You *survived!* You powerful, beautiful, incredible woman, you! 💜*You. Are. Simply.. Amazing.*💜 And when I saw my first video of his, with the DV and Suicide Hotlines at the end? It gave me goosebumps! As I also lost my oldest sister in August 2019 to suicide. She was only 47, and left behind a beautiful 29 year old daughter, an incredible son-in-law, (they'd only married in July of 2019, too, so my niece wss a newlywed at the time, but had been dating him for over five years), and the best girlfriend of twenty-two years. They weren't married, but I still consider her my sister-in-law. It shattered my mom, who blamed herself. But my sister was bipolar and off her prescribed meds. But mental health and domestic violence are two *VERY* under-discussed/"taboo" topics that so many families and people are ashamed to talk about. No, it must be discussed to be healed, treated, and with domestic violence, to stop the cycle. So yes, *DEFINITELY thank you* for sharing your story! Thank you for being a survivor and being so incredibly strong!💜 Much love and healing to you!

Great detail provided. I’ve watched other docs on this case and this is by far the best one.

Not only did some of the commentary have me laughing, a perfect mix of being informative and a "what the fk type shit is that" additions, but you with the toy gun and baby was the extra mile. Definitely subscribing man keep it up!

His reaction to the pictures was beyond disturbing. How can his parents stand behind him?

Thank you for the hard work and factual based content. This one really broke me, having a baby girl, I can't fathom a father killing his own daughter then laughing about it when being shown the crime scene photos of his actions at trial. What a MONSTER.

Ironic how he tried all his life to avoid his identity that originated in Worksop, only to end up BACK in Worksop when trouble comes knocking.

While it's awesome that the step-dad was able to push for immediate investigation due to his connections, it sucks that the average person doesn't get that type of quick response.

I don’t understand why he was laughing?? At the pictures? At the discussion? What the fuck was so funny?? He should’ve received the death penalty!! I don’t even understand why he killed them?? Apparently there was no insurance.. no money.. she didn’t even know what he’d been up to!! So NUTS!! RIP :(

I always loved your videos, especially you show all the scenes instead of your face unlike the other peoples videos. Good job, keep up the good works!

I have watched a LOT of true crime channels (as I’m sure most of us have) and this one has officially become my favorite! You do an incredible job telling the story and balancing facts and witty commentary, while still showing a high level of respect for the victims. Thank you for all you do!

I have three favorites...they are all totally committed.....It's like a community of Mystery connoisseurs...horrific as the subject matter is I learn a lot about forensics...and human beings....or the lack of being a human being....
