@Donnell Okafor Then you’ve probably never been the victim of a hate crime. It’s not “worse” or better. It provides context. Same as felony murder, or different degrees of murder. All is not the same.

I feel like every little town in America has their own version of the Murdaugh's. I know my hometown has a couple families literally getting away with murder among many other things. You grow up thinking these types are untouchable because of their money and connections. The internet has been a game changer though, because it doesn't forget things the way humans do over the years. Whistleblowers can get the truth out to the world now and then all that's required is the right set of eyes seeing it. I hope this family's story inspires other towns and cities to finally deal legally with their own Murdaugh's.

Poor, black, Homosexual anything other than, *good* "honest" white families, we have been directed from birth to know what line we belong in! I had such a culture shock when I met my husband from Buffalo.. The Good ol boy system is actually part of everyday lives in the south, and if these monsters could do this much damage in this tiny place. IMAGINE what is going on in Charleston, Columbia, or Jesus Washington !!?! I'm so grateful for the time and Hard Work Mandy , Liz and the family at the Murdaugh Murders Podcast have put into making sure this wasn't allowed to be shuffled to the back like it surly would have only 15 or 10 short years ago! They almost got away with this!! THINK about hoe close he came, it was certainly not bc of the state newspaper that we are all aware of whats going on!! I'm so proud if every face around that table, showing no fear standing up to the bullies, and knowing how tiny the tip of information shared here is compared to everything not shared yet. Well, I pray they have the endurance to keep going!! Ty so much for cleaning up this State for My children and Grandchildren!!!!

I have been following this case ever since the first CNN report caught my attention. Always searching for any information available. Then I found MMP. Not only comprehensive coverage but I would say courageous coverage. Mandy and Liz have become personal heroes as they unflinching expose the truth of deep systemic corruption in their own backyard. All of it done with compassion and total respect for the many victims involved. Sandy is an incredible person and I know she is going to get justice for her beautiful son. Eric Bland is a shining example for the legal profession fearlessly shining light on everyone who used power and privilege to take full advantage of so many. As a Philadelphia native he makes us proud! Thank you all for what you have done and continue to do to in the name of justice. Mandy has even caught Dick's attention which made me laugh and shows how much effect you are having. Keep up the fantastic work and know you have alot of fans here in Philly!

I agree with the Black male who was Alex's long time friend; Alex may have become addicted to opioids at some point in his life. He also has been alleged to be a drug kingpin. The man had a high six and sometimes 7 figure annual salary from his law practice and then stole close to 10 million dollars (that they know about) during the last 5 years. He should have a PhD in financial engineering, but he must be the poorest drug kingpin on earth. There is a lot missing from this story. A profound drug addiction would not account for that much money. There are, however, other addictions (such as gambling) which could consume an infinite amount of money. As a licensed funeral director, I have come into instances of families pre funding & pre-arranging funerals which is legal, but the funeral homes would use the personal information the families shared to take out large life insurance policies on the pre arranged parties, unbeknownst to the insured. Most times the insured is elderly, might be near death , etc. very vulnerable. The funeral home has no business making money off people who trust them without their knowledge, but oddly enough there is no law against this.

I’m glad you all posted this. I missed the original broadcast and then when I searched for a rerun to DVR I couldn’t find it. So then I went to ALL the trouble 😂 of downloading the CNN app on my roku and found it and started watching it and then some kind of glitch happened in the middle where everyone’s face froze but I could still hear talking. It was weird but finally I gave up and thought maybe I’ll get to see it someday and then lo and Behold here it is! I only told that long boring story to let you know how much I went through to watch this broadcast. Lol. Anyway thank you guys. And I really like your podcast. That recent tape of judge Mullen was freaking eye opening. I hope I don’t ever get on the nerves of an unscrupulous judge. . . Jesus!

This kind of behaviour is anathema to me. So much so that I can’t fathom why people would let bullies get away with these corrupt actions.

How many other people knew the minute he came up shot on that road that he was the killer? I was suspicious, but that absolutely confirmed it for me!

It’s right up there with Rottenborn, an attorney in the Depp v Heard case. Heard was exposed for being the liar and abuser she’s always been. Depp had problems he freely admitted to but he did not abuse her.

The question really is... "why did 1 of the killers take Maggie's phone after killing her?" There has to be some incriminating evidence they needed to take out, then throw the phone out!

Exactly where were the bodies of Paul and Maggie Murdaugh when they were assaulted at the kennels? I pretty much know where Paul’s body was left aged but not Maggie’s. How can a person shoot down his own flesh and blood? Why not shoot himself? 1:36 1:36

No reason for a random person to take the phone. That's the point. Alex had it to make it look like someone took it. It was on the golf cart and he put it in the car on way up to house.
