The curse was "sarpas will die in the Sarapa yaga, done by Janamejaya". As we all know it did happen, and many died. Many innocent sarpas died in it. Into whose account the sin will go? As per records, Janamejaya did suffer after the Sarapa yaga. Also Sarpas are related to Rahu. The entire Bharat and came under invasions of various foreign forces and i still see it going down, culture wise. Curse was given by Kadruva, so one view point it, she has to bear the result, but than why are others suffering. Please let me know.

And from the actions of your freewill you create new karma, good as well as bad. Example, it’s your prarabdh that you will work in a certain organization for a specific group of individuals that may give you a difficult time in your life. How you handle your work responsibilities and deal with these difficult individuals is your freewill. You can do it professionally with a positive attitude or you can fight, scream or cry everyday. This is new karma getting created
