About Coach Jesse Miller:
Coach Miller played college lacrosse at Tufts University and coached in college at both Tufts and Georgetown University.
After leaving Georgetown, Coach Miller joined the coaching staff at Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. - a perennial top high school team in the country, sending about ten graduates each year to play in college.
In 2012, he decided to take this knowledge of the game to the internet. Instead of reaching only a handful of players in a one-on-one setting, he knew he could use the internet to exponentially expand his reach to those players and coaches who crave the grind of achieving excellence in lacrosse.
Since that time, he has been developing, producing and distributing some of the best lacrosse instructional content available anywhere.

Remember your job as a defenseman is to deny the good shot. That said there is a time and place for fancy checks. so when is that good time to try these checks? When he will not have a good shot if you fail. when you know that your backup/slide is coming. When you need to make a play to give your team a chance to win. I never liked to do them early in the game. I want to get the feel of the opponent first.

I play in a U 12 select league but the training video for my age group was a little slow, so I used a high school leave void instead and it worked great

On the OTH I'd have your D pole set it up with the Dig so the attackman pulls his stick forward and opening up the opportunity for the OTH check. Go for the arm.

love your videos. I'm a coach and im wondering if you would do a video of half-time talks. My team is consistently coming out flat for 3rd qtr then starting to get going by the fourth. Is there any tips of how they sit around you or drills before the next qtr start
