this is awesome man! I always run big brake kits in my cars and I was always curious what it's like to reseal/refinish/rebuild them. I always had ideas in my head what happens when they are sent out but this is so cool to see you do it. I've been thinking about getting a powder coating set up in my garage lol. Keep up the good work!

When popping your pistons out with compressed air stick a piece of wood 3 or 4 inch thick in the middle where your disc would be and blow them out if they don’t all pop out just push them back in till the stubborn one gives up

The screwdriver method sure made me nervous. I don't work much on cars but using a screwdriver to pry something out usually leaves a mark whenever I try it. Do you know if the screwdriver technique is a valid technique? It obviously worked but it made me feel uncomfortable while watching. BTW, Thanks for the video Devin. This reply isn't meant as criticism of the video.

Duane Degn I don’t work on cars much myself but if you do use the screwdriver technique you do have to be careful because if you do slip and score one of the pistons it can cause brake fluid to leak so doing the compressed air technique is probably the better way just might take longer

Devin, with regards to the small crossover O ring inside the Caliper halves, did you remove this before baking and powder coating? Did you replace it with a new one? Also the bolts that hold the Caliper halves together, did you replace these bolts and what did you retourque them to?

Might be a dumb question. But asking because the video doesn't specify... Do you bake each coat individually? You bake the 1st coat, add the stickers, and then go back over the whole thing with clear powder? And what if you are doing multible different powder colors?

After watching this I'd be surprised if the pads don't stick. There are small metal pads that I believe are bare stainless. They were left on the caliper and then powdercoated. The tabs on the outer edges of the pads ride on them and the coating might make them stick.
