they actually put a nameless other player with a dynamic ping on the player list with you if you check by pressing tab just to hit home that you are alone with a friend :)

i came across this shadow person and i immediately tried to get a weapon then i realised i was is in a whole new gamemode and i'm just standing there like: *fuck*

@@nakoyasha you might be able to force load it by giving yourself an HEV suit with the command "give item_suit", though I have not played this mode yet so I do not know.

fr i thought it was some glitch but then i thought about it more until i saw the dark screen

also if you look at the players in game tab thing (using tab by default) theres someone else in the game with you :)

Me: this is a cool gamemode Stalker: *DO YOU THINK YOUR BETTER OFF ALONE*

I went into this blind since i saw it on the workshop. And I loaded into contruct and I started scanning for around 30 seconds and then I scanned behind me and some red thing was there and my screen went all black and text started appearing. Even though I think nothing can attack you it was very frightening.

I played this without reading about it and after a while i thought it was just some spooky cool thing to do until i nearly shat myself seeing a red figure out of nowhere by far my favorite gamemode and mod

First time it was scary, second time it just made me jump, third time I called him tarry and didn't "kill" his form The Redman appeared and it scared me the first time, the second time it made me wonder why I was playing, third time I just called him red lobster and we hung out together. Me, Tarry and Red lobster are now the best of friends playing hide and seek.

Tarry is actually "redman", the code that appears updates your scanner machine thing so it doesnt put dots where the humanoid creature is

This definitely reminds me of Iron Lung

I was expecting someone to point out the game, Scanner Sombre, that this mod was most likely based on. Even the sound effects of the scanning sound like they were pulled from the game. It's pretty heckin cool and I'd recommend anyone that enjoys this mod give it a try.

On my first fucking game i found the red entity, and shat my pants.

this mod would make a amazing game where you have to scan everything in order to see all the while something is stalking you, the anxiety of waiting that scanner from top down to reveal if something is in front of you

@@aldrichhf35 you don't, that's the worst part, you need to fully turn on sv_cheats 1 and bind the noclip command to a button to be able to escape.

LIDAR isn't scary if you blast Kirby music into your headphones (for me, the Kirby's Dreamland 3 soundtrack)

The first time I tried lidar I was playing on a train map without a navmesh so the game thought I saw the red guy when I really didn’t so I thought something went wrong and broke my game

Funny thing is even in singleplayer by pressing tab you can see there's another guy with you in the server...

POV: You see something red in LIDAR, but it doesnt cause a restart and you realize you are playing with friends

Any time i see the word heartache, everywhere ate the end of times first song plays over and over.

you have to play for like 15 minutes for jerry to appear

Has the same energy as the skit where the guy get's along with his clone

When it’s red its for flesh, so a person in that mod thing was there, but then the error happens and the LiDar ignores the flesh afterwards, and hums when it detects it and there will be a shadow where the flesh should be.

LIDAR is fun

It wasent really scary for me because I played lidar multiplayer before and the shadow people dont act like actual players when getting scanned.

I was happy that I have friends but they were just built in on lidar
