POTATOES DAUPHINOISE…the ultimate scalloped potatoes! A wonderul Easter side dish!
You won’t taste a potato side dish as good as this one! An elegant recipe that goes great with a roast, steak or just about anything!
6-8 large russet or Idaho potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8" thick
6-7 large garlic cloves, minced fine
heavy cream (about 2-3 cups)
3-4 cups Gruyere cheese, shredded
salt and pepper to taste
butter for greasing a 9 x 12 ovenproof baking casserole pan
