Written recipe:
-Prepare dough
-Maida (All purpose flour) 3 cups.
-Salt 1/2 tbs or to taste
-Ajwain (carom seeds) 1/2 tbs.
-Mix well
-Oil /ghee 1/4 tbs
-Mix well until it crumbles
-Luke warm water 1 cup or as required
-Add gradually water
-Mix well and knead until dough is formed
-Cover the dough
-Let it rest for 20min
-Meanwhile make potatoes filling
-Aloo(potatoes) boiled 4 medium
-Salt to taste
-Zeera (cumin seeds) 1/2 tbs
-Haldi (turmeric powder) 1/2 tbs
-Tandoori masala 1/2 tbs
-Corn flour 1 tbs
-Adrak lenhsan(ginger garlic) paste 1/2 tbs
-Hara dhanya (fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs
-Mix and mash it well
-Set aside.
-Dough Is set after 20-30 min
-Take dough ball
-Flat it with ballen
-Place a small bowl in the center of the dough, add potatoes filling & spread it equally
-Remove the bowl and cut the dough in equal triangle parts
-Apply little water in the middle to stick the croissant properly
-Roll out each triangle, make the croissant and seal the end properly
-Make the croissant one by one
-Add it in hot oil
-Fry on very low flame until golden brown & crispy
Take it out & serve it.
