Фильм және анимация

It's got your vintage paperbacks. It's got your sf. It's got your covid rebound. It's even got your hodgepodge far hodgepodgier than normal! What more is there? Anti-vaxx literature? Not in this covid-rich bathtub! Nosireebob!
Some of the writers we yap about: Howard Waldrop, Kate Wilhelm, Barry N. Malzberg, Brian Aldiss and PG Wodehouse! Yeah, Wodehouse! Did we say it was hodgepodgiesque! Well, we should've!

I both enjoy and am frustrated by Malzberg. Every time I pick up one of his books and like it, I read another. I do this until I hit a bad one and then I need a break. I'm currently reading "On A Planet Alien" - Wish me luck!

I recall liking that one but I know how you feel. Very hard to compare Malzberg to anybody else (as if you'd want to!) s

I'm not a sci-fi fan, but I adore P G Wodehouse. That's the same old paperback of "Right Ho, Jeeves" that I have. Thank you for reminding me of newt fancier Gussy Fink-Nottle's hilarious drunken speech at the prize-giving ceremony. (Aunt Dahlia: "He'll always be Fink-Bottle to me!")

Yeah it's pretty funny, tho my favorite may be the next in the series, CODE OF THE WOOSTERS. RIGHT HO seems to incorporate a lot of the earlier stories? I meant to mention that. Stay safe in the bathtub, Dorothy! s

Me too: I bought the whole collection of those Penguins back in the mid 1980s. The Psmith and Blandings books are also good. As I've said before here, pre-WWII Wodehouse was better.
