Post-match reactions from the 2nd game of our 2023 Singapore Cup campaign.
In a hot-tempered game, our Sailors managed to keep their cool to effectively seal qualification to the next stage of the Singapore Cup. Only a catastrophic defeat to Hougang in the last game will see us not qualify.
While Naqiuddin Eunos temporarily introduced some doubt into the game with a well-taken equaliser, eventually Shawal Anuar proved the hero with a stunning second-half hattrick from the bench.
We speak with Haneefa, Afra, and Ifra who were watching their first LCS game. They spoke positively about the atmosphere and the Sailors.
Then it was the turn of Akman, Ryan, and Adli, who were also very obviously over the moon with the result. While they had different things to say, they all agreed on the Man of the Match - Shawal Anuar. ;)
