Post-match reactions from the 3rd game of our 2023 AFC Champions League campaign.
Buoyed by a win on Matchday 2, the Crew harboured the slimmest of slim hopes that our Sailors would be able to mount a massive upset against Korean giants Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
Alas, it was not to be as the difference in class was made painfully clear, despite Jeonbuk resting a few key players. Their quality and strength in depth was a bit too much for our Sailors on the day.
We spoke with Jeonbuk fans who obviously were very happy with the win, but also had the grace to take us out for dinner after the game. Props to them for also taking precious time out of their schedule to give us a tour of their city Jeonju earlier in the day.
We then spoke with Ernest and Hidayat, who are not members of the Crew, but after this trip, probably are!
