Post-match reactions from the 6th game of our 2023 AFC Champions League campaign.
It was the deadest of dead rubber games because Kitchee were confirmed to finish last, while we were confirmed to finish third in the table. Both teams had no chance of reaching the knockout rounds.
In a game where our Sailors didn't really get going, Kitchee went up 1-0 through a van Huizen own goal. Despite applying more pressure on Kitchee, we didn't get the goal we needed, and conceded a 2nd through Fernando in the second half.
We spoke with Kitchee fans Calvin and Andy who were understandably delighted, and felt that Fernando was impressive all night.
Sailors fans Angie and Calum then flipped the script by interviewing me instead for the last SailorFanTalk post-match reactions video fo the year.
