Possibly The Best Place to fish for Fall Catfish (Hot Bite!) & almost capsized

This could be a great place to fish for fall catfish on the Ohio river, these fish become fired up as the water gets colder in November and dropping baits suspended directly over them can lead to the hottest bite of the year if you're in the right place. every year i come to this dam on the Ohio river and use the same suspend fishing technique and it is one of three extremely hot bites you can find during the year this one being the hot fall bite, the other 2 being the spring bite and the post spawn bite and these are times of year you want to fish hard and can be memorable days of fishing on the water.
Also be very careful fishing below the dams due to ever changing water conditions from lock masters controlling the water it can be dangerous for fisherman so pay attention to the sirens and get out of the way of strong water conditions.

Damn it man, u was on em!!! That kind of action is why i love fiahing the Ohio River. I tried to tell my cousin how epic of a fisherie it is and he doesnt believe me. He fishes the Licking River and i used to fish it heavy too, until i found Meldahl and Markland dams. Just pure fishing chaos

There is not many dams on the Ohio that will let you get that close, but that’s what makes it a good place

Tributaries and creeks have had to work for them lately as the water temp has dropped quick, Craig’s creek is where I got these shad if your local to the area

i am a fishing nut but i try to treat the fish with care just think your hungry and swimming along and then OOO look Food just what i was searching for and then someone rips a Hook thru your face or gut then via a thin line drags you thru the water uncontrolled because they are so happy to have caught a fish nearly killing it and then let it go injured are food to the local soup kitchen

It’s been good to me so far I like it runs pretty smooth just a little heavy for the boat and actually found out it’s a 90 hp back then they measured hp from the carbs not the prop or the other way around I don’t remember but that’s what there saying

hello where are yall that was a purty blue what is the river if you put some honey and Vaseline together then dry the area around the wound if yall are christian kinda folk we can have a Fish for Freedom to help Israeli Victims with the PTSD who knows if we can get a go fund me to make a catfish farm in Israel just think of getting the NGC people involved and we can ship 100 males and 500 Females and then we can share that as a peace offering of food and sustinance
