An exquisite meal can only be followed up by the oldest Port wine Cellar in town. Kopke provided a vast selection of tasting flights and we chose one that offered a combination of white, ruby, and tawny. A staff member guided us through our tasting and we couldn't have asked for a better dessert to complement our meal. Each wine showing off the craftsmanship of the wine maker.
JARDIM DO MORRO pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jardi...
Atop a hill next to the Dom Luís Bridge and at the foot of the Serra do Pilar Monastery gathers hundreds of locals and tourists everyday on this vast green space to witness the sun set across the city to the tune of buskers providing musical entertainment. Expect cheers and applause as the sun sets and night begins creating an energy of appreciation for all mother nature has given that day.

Thanks so much
Manel is my favorite restaurant on the ribeira. Their cousins have a place, Cozinha do Manel close to the Heromosa metro stop with the best tripa in town.

Hi Brigitte, overall how does your experience in Portugal compare with the one in Greece? Which country do you prefer in terms of the vibe, cities, overall experience, food and people...and why? Thanks in advance for your time

Hi there :) both countries have all the things you're looking for. If you're deciding between the two, pick one and you won't be disappointed. Truly recommend you visit both if you can. Two of my favorite countries. In Portugal, Porto is lesser visited than Lisbon but is an absolute gem and worth a trip on its own. Athens is underrated as a European capital city and deserves more time than most tourists give it before heading to the islands. I recommend less tourists islands like sifnos and serifos. Paros is becoming more visited but still worth it. Hopefully some of my vids on these places can help. Best of luck and happy adventures!
I just came back from Portugal, including Porto. Your video brought back fond memories. Please tell me you went to the Doreaux Valley. Even though you dont have a lot of views. I certaintly enjoyed, and wished I could partake in that 30 year old Tawney.

We did journey into the Douro Valley to visit Quinta do Bonfim where the Symington family produces Grahams, Cockburns, Dow's, and Warre's port wines. Amazing wine tour! 🍷
Porto is Porto, Gaia is Gaia. Two different cities, two different counties.
