nope most of their talents like Renato who is playing horribly at bayern with his 10 appearances and 0 goals and the backbone of the team is really old and they do not have many promising youngsters and the only youngster that is playing well is raphael guerreiro but i can see england having a shot at winning the euros after the rooney era

We have plenty of good players coming up. Bernardo Silva, Renato Sanches, Gelson Martins, Andre Silva, Nelson Semedo, and one that you have't heard about yet but you will in the next 2 seasons, Rui Pedro. But we have a CB problem, after Pepe and Bruno Alves retire we dont have any substitutes in sight, not at their level at least.

I didn't think 2006 was a great World Cup at the time, but I've come to appreciate it more now. The fact that there were almost no upsets before the QFs meant that a lot of iconic players made it deep.

Great player but was an international bottler.

After the heartbreak of euro 2004 and world cup 2006, people thought that the chance for Portugal to win a trophy was over. After 10 years, that young Ronaldo, now the captain of Portugal led his nation to Euro Cup glory by beating France. Portugal also went on to win the Nation's league in 2018 and a bronze medal in confideration cup 2017. What a turnaround for Portugal

I agree. Portugal was rock solid that game. The luckier team definitely won that game. As for Henry diving, even if he did not fall, that was definitely not an attempt on the ball and rather a clear attempt to obstruct the play inside the box. Very stupid move by a defender. Regardless, would have been a penalty.

they had way to many lucky breaks on bad ref decisions. The free kick that took France ahead of Spain in the second round was from Henry diving beside Puyol, the penalty that knocked out Portugal was another Henry exaggeration of a slight tap from Calhvaho and the Malouda dive in the final for the penalty as mentioned before.

The picture quality is best and I can't believe its 2006 world cup beacuse of picture quality

Italy was the best team that year they played some quality football and was stacked with legends. And Germany paid the ref against Argentina. No way Portugal was gonna beat that France team. And Argentina was more back and more talented than Portugal 🤦🏾‍♂️
