In this video I take you behind the scenes on a portrait shoot in a cave! I loved making this video, this whole shoot was a real adventure!
All the photographs in this video were taken on my Sony A9 with my Sony 16-35mm and Sony 85mm 1.8 lenses.
This portrait shoot video was made at Thor's Cave in the Peak District.
The photographs in this video were all taken with off camera flash using the new MagMod MagBox Pro 24 and were edited in Lightroom using my preset pack.
A huge thank you to Demi for modelling (you can follow her here: / demihughes1x ) and for being so amazing on this shoot - especially due to the location being a cave!

Wonderful shoot! I don't think your video gives justice to how treacherous that cave really is, but the location definitely gave the scene atmosphere (both literally & figuratively)! I'm glad everyone returned safe & with no mishaps--be careful when you're trying to outdo yourself, sir!

Hi Neil, I have been following you and watching your wedding videos, I have dipped my toes in the Wedding photography market in the past, back then I had canon 5d mk2s using a 24-70. I now have a Sony a7iii with a 18-105. You have inspired me to take a more serious attempt at Weddings, My budget at the moment can allow me a lens in the region of £1000 or so. I was thinking about the Sigma 85mm 1.4. Would this get me thru a wedding along with my 18-105 (f4) or would you go for the Sigma 35mm 1.4? Advice would be appreciated, thanks.
