00:55 WI-Fi IS science+magic duh! ;) 1:47 I had no idea it was so "generous" with how much it would help the player like that, now how come it doesn't do it half the time with fixed lasers!? :D 2:18 I'm really looking forward to the Community Edition, looks great. I think these could totally be there own thing as well though? i was thinking you could have versions of this portable emitter, ones that have a battery like this one that are always on, ones that have to be taken and plugged into different fixed places around the chamber, and ones that have a temporary battery that once unplugged you have a certain amount of time to make use of them before that have to be charged somehow. As always, apolgies for another late reply and all the love to you dude ❤

It actually makes sense to be able to transport the laser, because (if i am not wrong) the laser is being transported through a portal, and the actual machine that makes the laser is much much larger I remember seeing this in those little animations showing how the things work I hope to see more of this type of puzzle being made on the workshop!

You're right, the lasers are sometimes shown as being brought into chambers by portals, sometimes they seem to suggest direct connection to the "machine" too but i think one of those aperture promo adverts show it as being done through portals too. That could be a really cool way to add more detail to these portable later emitter models, like if you could look inside through the glass and see a mini auto portal panel inside. What an interesting concept! It would have never occurred to me to pull one of those out of the wall and drag it around. Now that I know they are powered by magic, though, who needs reflection cubes when you can just pry the source out of its mount? 😂

Can definitely see these being taken further in something like the Community Edition one day maybe, it would be cool to see them as a "real" thing rather than a modding prototype like this, with their own custom model and rules. I like the idea of ripping them off the wall though, that could be cool feature, like you have to physically take it with you and plug a type of them in at other placed around the map, or ones that have a timed battery built in so you pull them off the wall where they can be charged, and they still work for a while as another way of doing timed puzzles. It'd definitely be cool to see this concept taken further along with more polish, but it might end up straying too far from the original concept of the game. I'm sure the folks smart enough to implement these things are also smart enough to balance play though, so bring it on!! My pleasure for watching. Always entertaining!

BeeMod can be great when used well, i'm pretty sure this would of used some hammer trickery too, unless these portable discouragement beams have been turned into a user created packaged for BeeMod already? i haven't really checked out what's available for it recently. Thank you for watching!
