it’s better than 4.0 gts. the 718 gts 4.0 sounds like a motorbike. too high pitched.

I have a 2015 GTS in Racing Yellow and love the sound. It is impossible to drive this car without 2 things happening - a huge smile breaking out on your face, and your heart rate going up. Pure fun!

What is the exterior color?
That's a very beautiful color! With the bright green background this is a very well produced video of one of Porsche's best ever models, and it's eargasmic.

My father ownes one of the last ones made in November of 2015. I absolutly love this car. It has the best sound i have ever experienced. I get a smile every time you go of the throttle and this rumbling start going. And its not sound generator or a engine software its just the engine and the exaust. If i had to describe the car with 1 word, its would be ... irresistible

Mine has been produced by the end of march 2016, delivered at the dealership in april 2016 :) must have been literally within the last handful of cars on production line... Manual, carbon buckets, LSD and sports suspension ❤️❤️❤️

please never sell this car. the exhaust is the best ever. better than 4.0 gts. also the color is amazing. this is the only other color i would ever buy other than the rhodium silver.

Terrific video. By comparing this to your Cayman R video, you can see the advanced performance of the second generation PDK; the tachometer needle snaps back quicker when you upshift. People say the 981 PDK is more "entertaining" than the 987 PDK, even though both are excellent.

I have a 987.2 S Black Edition with PDK and the shift times are faster than I can blink although there is a delay between pulling a paddle and the gear changing, I think that’s the main thing they improved

@@bwdrives That's another thing. There is a delay before it starts shifting in the 987, in addition to a difference in the speed of the shift itself. But I think its there in 981 too. I think the delay is there in the 992 (although not the GT3). Strange. I don't know why they put the delay there. It looks to be more on the upshift than the downshift.
I drove 981GTS before. I really love it. Even entry level 718 is faster than 981GTS.But it’s sound is just INSANE. I really want one but 981GTS became much more expensive than before….😭

Entry level 718 is definitely slower than the 981 GTS. But yes, the 981 GTS is not a fast car either

I have an M2 (non comp) and 981 GTS. The 981 is a better drivers car in almost every single way and it's not even close. The only thing the M2 has over the 981 is straight line speed.
