I bought a 2016 Guards Red 981 GTS in January 2023 15k Miles $72,900.00 Ive put 5000 miles on the car and absolutely love it, people cant not look at it. Smokin Hot car ! Cant wait to track it.

Good review - out of the factory the 981 Cayman GTS is 340HP and 380Nm of torque plus it has a third radiator (centre) whereas the S was 325HP and 370Nm of torque without the third radiator. Whilst it was possible to spec most of the go faster goodies on the S, the reality is it rarely happened. This car with PASM, sports chrono, performance sports exhaust and Porsche torque vectoring (with PDK) is an absolute joy to drive, you can wring it out and it sounds glorious. In my view it will go down as one of the best sports cars made by Porsche and I say this as 991.2 GT3 RS owner. The other point is it is really chuckable in way a 911 can't match other than if it has rear axle steering. A rare joy in a sea of turbocharged blandness. I can guarantee your customer will be pleased with his purchase.

Ah great run through Raj as always, some things I didn’t know there so very interesting and my buyers remorse (guilt) has dissipated a little - my Guards Red 981 GTS is such a lovely thing, on the lowered suspension and with a PDK. I paid a lot for it on 22k miles, but looking at it now I prefer it to the gt4 it’s the perfect all rounder 🥰

The Cayman GTS is more engaging and exciting initially, but the 911 is also great once it gets under your skin. All down to personal preference of course! Raj

Totally agree. My friend had a 997.2 GTS PDK when I had my 981 GTS PDK and whilst I adored his 997, I just felt the Cayman was a superior drive (for my driving style and needs). The induction and exhaust is addictive and the mid engine chassis which is a beaut is just so workable in and out of corners! As I said in another of Raj’s videos, i hero worship my 718 Spyder, but I truly miss my 981 in a melancholic way. Just the perfect blend of old and modern Porsche. They truly created a gem with the 981 GTS

great car & sound but on the highway the exhaust gives "drone"
