    Thanks for the recipe.I just made this. Very crispy outside and moist inside Used tapioca flour. Omitted the soya sauce. Marinated in fridge overnight.Didnt do 2nd frying as cannot wait to eat. Will share the link to my friends.

    Nextime if you wanted to use the old oil again all you have to do it just cut up yellow inion cook in the oil few minutes then take it out the inion will made your oil as good as new 😀😀

    I made this dish today. I ran out of tapioca powder and was too lazy to buy some. Found spicy fried chicken flour in cabinet and used this instead. It turned out 👌 too. Key ingredient was the fermented tofu. So yummy

    I discovered a week ago this fermented bean curd. It is so delicious I could eat it by itself . It's full of umami ! Thanks for showing me other ways of using it. I 've used it for marinating pork for satay.

    Thanks for sharing. I've been watching your videos, and will be trying the economic beehoon. You mentioned a few times the aluminum work must not be hot before you add the oil. May I know why is this so? I've always thought the wok has to be heated up before we throw in the oil. Thank you!

    It looks good, but to say that you cannot get the skin crispy... ouch, then you should have seen the videos and heard the sound of the fork going over the super crispy skin. A pork knuckle is also possible to get very crispy, with the skin.

    Carina Koh i dun suggest using breadcrums, the crust could be too thick. Per piece is about 150g
