Russo's Goal against Northern Ireland was actually impressive, the first touch was so composed and beautiful

Russo's heel and nutmeg goal against Sweden has to be the one. Followed closely by Toone's chip against Germany in the final.

For me, goals where the defense fails are children's stuff. Goals scored against real opposition and in great distress mark a striker. Here, Popp and Russo's goals are the benchmark.

Damaka. Totally agree. Toone's chip, I was thinking England usually miss now, well the men do, then magical chip, better than 10th. Russo's backheel seeing live on TV was absolutely unbelievable.

Doing something outrageous and unexpected to get through a defence is not the defence doing something stupid or making a mistake it is 100% the attacker grasping the moment. Are you going to claim Maradona's famous goal against England was passe because it made the English defence look like a shambles????

I think Russo's goal is astonishing given it sealed the game for England, definately an iconic goal. For skill though I don't think it's the best. I really like Sweden's team goal, followed by Beth Meeds mazy dribble and the best goal for me was Toone's chip because it changed the game and it was in the final.

toone goal is one of the classiest goals I've ever seen.

England could’ve had their own top 10!

Russo's goal against N. Ireland is the best because of that touch and turn, nice finish as well. 2nd is Toone's- no explanation necessary. 3rd is Van de Donks -that ball was struck so cleanly, it didn't spin at all.

Ella Toone deserves the 1st place.... just 22 yrs old... such a great composure to chip the goalkeeper in such a highly anticipated final 🔥 She did it like an experienced senior player

This list just confirms to me England's pure quality over the rest, and arguably they should have had two more on this list. Stanway and Mead vs Sweden.

Toone's goal is the best. Firstly because of Toone putting herself in a good position and calling for the pass. Secondly because of Walsh's vision and perfect execution of the pass straight between the two German defenders. And then finally because of Toone's wonderfully cheeky finish. I think Beth Mead's goal against Sweden (the first goal) should be in this list. It's a pretty firm and low cross/pass from Lucy Bronze and the way Mead bought the ball under control with one touch and then swivelled and shot was fantastic. It's certainly better than one or two others on this list. I quite like van de Donk's goal here too. That would probably be my second favourite.

Not being English myself I have to say the English goals were fantastic and there were at least a couple more which could have made this list. I really liked Ellen Whites first goal against Norway a real strikers goal and of course we all have Georgia on our minds!

I don't think the England players would feel relief do you? They are professional players. Popp is a game changer and classy person and given her history I'm absolutely gutted for her.

The rest of the teams have 2 with luck 3 players able to score, England proved to be the team with deeper quality roster, to the point their usual subs were as good or perhaps even better than the starting players they used to came for in the 2nd half. For example Ellen White is a great player with a huge experience and a legend on her own merits, but Alessia Russo is as good as her has ever been and with the increased experience she has been geting no doubt will become way better.

@@zwanzischmark Correction Germany had 8 scorers, 1 with 6, 1 with 3 and 5 with 1 goal each to make 14 goals plus 1 (Frohms, the GK) with 1 own goal. And England had 9 scorers, 1 with 6, 1 with 4, 4 with 2 and 3 with 1, to make 21 goals

If Jenni and Alexia are not injured, maybe Spain will won the trophy. And to defeat England, use Penalty because it was England's weakness.

I BELIEVE THAT England is lucky , goal 1-1 in qualter final it's frustrating. Irene Paredes had no protection because she jumped but was pressed down. Of Course It's Foul

If England had not played Rachel Daly as LB and had started Alex Greenwood in her place instead I think Spain perhaps may have not been able to score against England, even with Putellas and Hermoso.

England and Germany made their groovin'. France was good too. But it is hilarious when a Spaniard and not a Swede was included, Spain's performance was a total joke overall if not for the fact they beat semi-professional Denmark and Finland 🤦🏻‍♂

Spain play at midfield is probably the most beautiful play style seen in the whole tournament, but their attacks lacked so much, and there is no way they could compete for 90 minutes against teams that are way stronger phisically and mentally and have a good defense as was the case of Germany or England

@@davidbowie5023 Spain has a lot of great players with a great team chemistry, but they lack (beside more than very few scoring options) more important physical and mental strenght to compete with the top teams. They are a team that can't come back from a negative result, even that being the opposing team equalizing. Probably some may mention their match against Finland, but while Finland may be improving as a team, and may have some good and promising players they obviously are at a level way lower atm.

@@omargj1 I think what happened with Spain is identical to almost every team from Latin America, where Spain used to have bunch of colonies there. Both Spain and the Latin American Hispanic sides (examples Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay) are very sound technically, but mentally unstable. So if they find the tunes, they will be unstoppable. But if not, they fall immediately. No wonder why Spain and its former colonies always produce great talents, but when coming to honours, they never make it top.

Got to hand it to the Norwegian girls fair play, there isn't male player on Earth who wouldn't have fouled Beth Mead and given away a penalty here 1:14
