You didn’t catch in radio she sang about how she can find gold by chasing the american dream cause her father said it. In ride she also speaking about her father. The main problem with lana is that she had issuies with her mom, loved her dad but got seperate from him then she had daddy issues, she wanted the American dream, alone, going through drugs, alcohol, searching her dad through older man. She still sing about it in her last album 10 years later. Her songs are mostly autobiographical, not a path anyone wants to follow but at least true from heart. So most of her albums are unhealthy relationships, daddy issues, money and fame , in ultraviolence and honeymoon she sang about fame and how you end up not wanting it anymore, the price u have to pay for it. She’s unique in her style.

For a “pop avoider”, you’re hella judgemental 🤦♂️ definitely very uncool and jumping to conclusions based on your own life history. First of all, Lana doesn’t cheat. She’s always the one getting hurt in relationships. She’s referencing Axl Rose, who she dated. When runs to Heaven’s road (Guns n roses song) she wants god to take her back. She won’t be bad she won’t cheat on him aka commit more sins. She’s also cheating death, because of her reckless lifestyle. Wanting to be with the person who is gone (dark paradise)
