When he said Coney Island reminds me of Taylor i was like lord this album is from 2012 it was released 9 years before the Taylor song 💀
Taylor has said that Lana is the most influential music artist today.

Lana del rey has 0 grammys. Which is literally unbelievable. She has always made her next album better than the last one. Funny most of the times she didn't get any nominations. Norman F*cking Rockwell was nominated of ROTY AND AOTY. But she's didn't win. Billie won them. Which I believe Lana deserved more than anyone who was nominated that year. Because Lana ia doing her thing since last 10 years, she was criticized for her dark music. "Lana created us" -Billie. Also taylor considers lana as the most influential artist of the past decade. CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR LANA JOURNEY

Song of the year not record of the year
The album that changed 2010s alternative pop. Whew what a literal cultural reset
Lana was one of the original artists of her kind of style that has now inspired other acts like Billie Eilish, Lorde, Melanie Martinez, Halsey, etc. She made this sound popular and allowed other acts to find success with the same sound in the future.
‘She had to have won a Grammy’ Lana being constantly torn of each-
Hell yeah, this album is a masterpiece

No Grammys for Lana. It’s insane.
I'm 61, and I can't get enough of Lana's music. Great review, thanks!
This album has hip hop influences. Ultraviolence has rock influences. Honeymoon is jazzy and so dreamy. Lust for life is pop/alt. Normal fu*cking Rockwell is very viby. Cocc is mellow and viby too. My favs all time fav are Honeymoon, Ultraviolence and NFR.

Maybe she could take it from Lolita book, because H.H called her little girl by different names (Dolores, Dolly, Carmen, Lolita). Even though, If you can analize it, Off to the Races, Lolita and the last one would be intertwined. Those are a couple of clues, she really knows her experiencies.

i believe in lana and taylor supremacy✨
Carmen is about herself, she was an alcoholic as a teen, and she was sent to a boarding school
Please listen to her albums in order!!! Paradise is next, then ultraviolence!!! Great reaction!!
Off to the Races is based on the novel Lolita. It quotes the first line of the book “Lolita, Light of my life, fire of my loins”
THE HEAD BOBBING DURING VIDEO GAMES IS SENDING ME!!! So far such a good reactiob

According to my Apple Music, I've listened to National Anthem for about 1043 times! Crazy to think about this number and I still listen to it every day. This album is timeless.
To understand "national anthem" you should watch the music video
“It must’ve won a Grammy” LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
i wish i could listen to born to die for the very first time again
I just graduated high school when this album released in 2012 ( uh I’m so old 😭) and man oh man was it such a cultural reset! I STILL regularly go back and listen to the whole album it’s just such a perfect blend of so many genres and the production is absolutely nuts! 💜
So excited for you to listen NFR and Ultraviolence!!
I‘m so happy! I Love Lana and her music is so great and unique ❤️
Hiii, please react to the albums in order, and before you do the Paradise EP please react to the three deluxe songs, they're kinda of a bridge for the EP

This is a great middle piece that many reactors are missing.
I'm soo glad you're doing this in chronological order!!
I've been waiting for another Lana reaction! Please react to all of her discography, she is a very versatile artist. I'd suggest Paradise EP next, which was an extension of Born to die. Also there are three deluxe songs to Born to die. Paradise is in a similar style of Born to Die, but it begins to explore with nre genres, in fact her next full length album, Ultraviolence, has a rock influence
you are so right like😭😭😭😭 yess king you tell them!!! 👏👏👏 she's the best keep doing her discography in orderrrrrrr you'll fall more and more and more in love with this amazing artist. a living legend
love ur reaction!! the next album/ep will be paradise which is very connected to the Born to Die album.
BTD is so iconic, Dark Paradise is my favorite track.❤️ React to Norman F*cking Rockwell, her best album in my opinion.
Ultraviolence and Nfr neeeext!!!!
i never klicked so fast
You need to react to her Ultraviolence album!!! It is so good
Lana definitely deserves so many awards for this album. She’s so amazing
You should definitely do the Pardise EP it's linked to this album!!!!
Each album really has its own vibe. Cannot wait for the next Lana reaction!
"Tell me I'm your national anthem" means "Tell me that I'm so important to you" like an anthem is for a country because is part of its identity.
Next UlTRAVIOLENCE please
Wait until checkout all the music videos for the songs that have them. You will get the full picture of what she’s talking about like National Anthem.
For million dollar man, him being a million dollar man and being screwed up isn't as contradictory as it may seem. In the song she says "You got the world but baby at what price ?" because to have a certain amount of power, you must make sacrifices or even do questionable things, and she is aware of that. Being a million dollar man still makes him irresistible, because power is attractive and according the way she describes him, he oozes charisma. You can interpret the song as her being conflicted between those two aspects of the million dollar man but she might actually like both hence why she still wonders why her heart is broken. The idea of duality exists in a lot of her songs including radio because she says "now my life is sweet like cinnamon" and cinnamon has a sweetness to it but is also bitter.
make sure to listen to the deluxe version of the albums next time. loved the video
Great reaction, I enjoyed watching it. Looking forward to the next one.
So annoyed he didnt review the deluxe i wanted to hear his reaction to 'without you' :(

no cuz you actually scared me with this
Honestly I don’t think I’ve heard an album from anyone that is as good as this one! Maybe arctic monkeys Am is my second favorite, or sticky fingers caress your soul!! But I think this is the best album ever created for real!!!!!!!!!
30:55 I always felt like in million dollar man she was talking about that same 'mafia guy' she was talking about in off to the races, like she knows he's bad and what he does is wrong but she loves him anyways and doesn't know how to solve her inner conflict, that's why her heart broken 😅 And it also adds to the 'sometimes love is not enough' line in btd, like you said, there's love but somehow she's still unhappy
You are the kod says gingers have souls
You meant High profile criminal about song #2 Off tor he Races.
Very obvious that you never heard Angelina Jordan covering the song "Born to die". You probably never heard of her. Big big mistake my friend. At barely 12, Angelina Jordan, a child prodigy from Norway (now living in LA & she's 15), sang "Born to die" with just a mike, headphones & a backing track, and she sounds 10 times better than Lana Del Rey. No kidding! Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. Yes 8. Her performances are on YT with English subs. She covered 140 + songs from the top jazz singers of the 50's & 60' to F.Sinatra, Elvis, Adele, Miley, Queen (AGT Bohemian Rhapsody +Golden buzzer), sang on Quicey Jones's 85th birthday in London, & many many more. She's signed with Republic Records at age 14 & released 2 singles under that label. Waiting for you to react to any of her covers. You'll be blown away.
Where's the LP1 album reaction? You said you already have it recorded & edited.
