Lana del rey has 0 grammys. Which is literally unbelievable. She has always made her next album better than the last one. Funny most of the times she didn't get any nominations. Norman F*cking Rockwell was nominated of ROTY AND AOTY. But she's didn't win. Billie won them. Which I believe Lana deserved more than anyone who was nominated that year. Because Lana ia doing her thing since last 10 years, she was criticized for her dark music. "Lana created us" -Billie. Also taylor considers lana as the most influential artist of the past decade. CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR LANA JOURNEY

Lana was one of the original artists of her kind of style that has now inspired other acts like Billie Eilish, Lorde, Melanie Martinez, Halsey, etc. She made this sound popular and allowed other acts to find success with the same sound in the future.

Maybe she could take it from Lolita book, because H.H called her little girl by different names (Dolores, Dolly, Carmen, Lolita). Even though, If you can analize it, Off to the Races, Lolita and the last one would be intertwined. Those are a couple of clues, she really knows her experiencies.

I've been waiting for another Lana reaction! Please react to all of her discography, she is a very versatile artist. I'd suggest Paradise EP next, which was an extension of Born to die. Also there are three deluxe songs to Born to die. Paradise is in a similar style of Born to Die, but it begins to explore with nre genres, in fact her next full length album, Ultraviolence, has a rock influence

  • @thenewclassic4

For million dollar man, him being a million dollar man and being screwed up isn't as contradictory as it may seem. In the song she says "You got the world but baby at what price ?" because to have a certain amount of power, you must make sacrifices or even do questionable things, and she is aware of that. Being a million dollar man still makes him irresistible, because power is attractive and according the way she describes him, he oozes charisma. You can interpret the song as her being conflicted between those two aspects of the million dollar man but she might actually like both hence why she still wonders why her heart is broken. The idea of duality exists in a lot of her songs including radio because she says "now my life is sweet like cinnamon" and cinnamon has a sweetness to it but is also bitter.

Very obvious that you never heard Angelina Jordan covering the song "Born to die". You probably never heard of her. Big big mistake my friend. At barely 12, Angelina Jordan, a child prodigy from Norway (now living in LA & she's 15), sang "Born to die" with just a mike, headphones & a backing track, and she sounds 10 times better than Lana Del Rey. No kidding! Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. Yes 8. Her performances are on YT with English subs. She covered 140 + songs from the top jazz singers of the 50's & 60' to F.Sinatra, Elvis, Adele, Miley, Queen (AGT Bohemian Rhapsody +Golden buzzer), sang on Quicey Jones's 85th birthday in London, & many many more. She's signed with Republic Records at age 14 & released 2 singles under that label. Waiting for you to react to any of her covers. You'll be blown away.
