Everything on New Levels New Devils is phenomenal, but I want shout out to the filmography for the videos for G.O.A.T. and this track: -The lighting throughout each section of the song sets the mood perfectly -The main hook starts with the shot with tropical plants and edgy, high contrast lighting which supports the latin flare -The creative rotating shot at 0:56 fits the "dizzy" feeling of the section -The main hook comes back at 1:14 in a setting suggestive of murder with butcher knives, blood spatter, and a noose. The section ends on Tim in a "killing room" at 1:34 which alludes to the next section -> -The bridge at 1:38 is one of my absolute favorite moments on the entire album. Another comment referred to it as "backstreet boy-sounding," it sounds like that because it is an incredibly catchy, buttery, fly ass fucking hook. The change of setting to "sexy" but deformed mannequin figures with "passionate" red lighting and blood indicating decapitation nails the sultry, dark feel to the hook. I think Tim "murders it" with the hook in this bridge, and I think the video is shot with the same idea in mind. The direct transition of the shot from Tim in the "killing room" to the shot of the headless mannequin with the noose supports my sentiment. The continuous shot through the crowd of mannequins to focus on each member as their part drops in to the bridge is just genius and beautiful, and I also appreciate the use of the shadowed mannequin to cleanly transition back to the drummer at 2:00 -Even the little forward/back reverse during the bass part at 2:24 where Clay plays an accented quarter note pattern of the same bass note that has a "bounce back" feel to it is an appreciable subtle detail The best part of the video is all of this artistic styling is done in such a non-intrusive way. It isn't pressed or obnoxious. The focus is clearly on the band members and their playing, but there is perfect environment and editing to support the emotional and stylistic changes of the song.

erik you are 100 percent correct, every theme in this video is full blown satanism. its very sad how once you start making money they grab ahold of you, sometimes even before you hit the scene like michael jackson, kesha or others we may never know the full truth about.. alot of stars are generational satanists that are bred to be puppets who spread MK ultra symbology to devolve the minds of the young. its been working sadly, look at our younger generations now, IQ going down 3 to 5 points per generation, everyone's addicted and distracted to/by porn and deviant sexuality, the parents these days are almost fully programmed secondary psychopaths..

here's the thing, for those downplaying their talents, if you can distinguish a band or player from anyone else doing "similar" playing or music genre, then there's individual style & talent. I've been hearing rock/ guitars for close to 50 years. since the 80s, some just started to have the same style & sound, and were indistinguishable & unremarkable. this band can be picked out easily for their style & sound.they are talented and notable in many ways.

My assessment of Polyphia: After being mesmerized by the guitarist and drummer, their absurdly technical skills is like they are spinning 5 dinner plates while playing, then when the dust settles you look in the background and the bass player is spinning 10 plates while doing a handstand!! Moral of the story, don't sleep on the bassist!!

Full on chills and goosebumps from that bass solo. Then listened to it again and felt the same feeling. Not everyday you literally feel euphoric from a part in a song. You guys have transcended into a style thats so unique and elegant. Fucking blown away! Cant wait to get my album

Every musician in this band is pulling their weight and then some. Every song shreds so much face. I just discovered them this morning and they instantly became my favorite band.

Found them last night. They wrecked my mind. Hard to describe how insane this shit is. Tastiest guitar licks ever.

It kills me knowing that these are sweep arpeggio chords that I have to hybrid pick and double finger tap. This is their most complicated song yet.

That bass... Made an entrance. 😶 The TVs tell me you've had some good acid before. Possibly in a forest.
