Personally, I like that your videos are less edited. I feel like you explain really well and talk about how you can make them so different other than just showing what you are making.

Katie I love your videos. It is like having a friend come over to play. I love your process. Other videos intimidate me because they make mr try to be perfect and I end up stressed. You are always so reassuring that you do not have to do things perfectly, just make yourself happy .

I have always been fascinated with translucent clay since I discovered polymer clay in 2011. There is no limit to what you can do with it. I have watched this video several times. These pendants are my favorite of yours. I need to make those two translucent flower canes.

The first time I ever tried to condition the Premo translucent, my hands and fingers were sore the next day 😂 I gave up and saw in your videos to put it in a baggy with the clay conditioner. Worked like a charm, even after only like 2 days/nights in the bag.

I enjoy watching your videos. I totally agree with you about not watching if it bothers them. You made me laugh when you were saying you weren't forcing anyone to watch. I appreciate you taking the time to teach what you've learned. Be blessed.

And I really love this black cell cane, I remember when you made the other once, this style of cane became my fave right there and then :D 💜 I really like the combo you did here with the beautiful lace flowercane and the black cell, all the way to the backings :) so so beautiful! 💜 Thank you for taking the time and making this inspirational video for us, I REALLY appreciate it 💜💜💜💜💜

You are not only a true artist, you explain things well. You inspire us especially when you are just winging it! I know I’m a bit type a and making mistakes get me a bit upset. You take that edginess away. Your point about practicing on scrapped projects was a great tip! I never see any negative comments, but you must be getting them from somewhere. My mom would say consider the source, but I can’t say that ever made me feel better. I take things so personally. Still, what you said is so true! You’re not forcing anyone to watch AND they’re free. Give me a break! People should be grateful you’re willing to take us on your polymer clay journey. We get to learn how to do things right or fix it when they don’t. Huge thank you from me to you. I love those black and white pendants! I am very interested in translucent canes. We can see the circles in the back part of the pendants. I can’t wait to make these. Best wishes for surgery. I’m sure you’ll do well.

Pardon my butting in, Lynn, but have you tried sculpeyproducts dot com for clay? Shipping has gone through the roof for everything but their discount helps offset that. My nearest store for clay is over 50 miles away and with no car, I cannot get there if I wished to do so. I must do almost everything by mail now. Just a thought - hope it helps you find something. Best of luck -

One year later - For inexpensive basic colors I went to Dollar General. I used corn starch baby powder to reduce stickiness. For translucent and night glow in preferred brands, I wanted to support a privately owned online store, but finally went to Amazon to find those. Hope you found your clay.

Katie; even though the comments are rude just ignore them, I know easier said than done. But even the rude comments count as engagement and the algorithm will refer your videos. I know you dont monetize your videos but you should think about doing it. You should be compensated for the time you spend making these fantastic videos for us. And the compensation will offset your expenses. Just my thought.

100% agree with your perspective people aren't paying you for these videos we are creators post as a curiosity more than anything.... I disable comments... Found your videos incredibly helpful! Thanks for the insights and posting. !♡ I detest editing. Will not enable comments they are irrelevant also do not like social media. Disable comments there. Have a full-time job too. Learning this to make items for a project building a healthier marketplace ending the human trafficking & abuse lessen the suffering at least. People who feel entitled to your content or you is repulsive. Much like say royalty for example a terrorist organization entitled nothing more as they money launder through charities then complain about press as they seek it out abusing others & rewardedfor child exploitation to murder. I went off topic there. Overall click out if you don't like it. I get great pleasure from deleting comments if they accidentally appear before I block em... Click, bye- bye. Same on Tiktok only other platform I'm on. Have bought domains to link directly to my own website. I detest Facebook won't use it. Human trafficking is increasing not decreasing narcissistic abuse is driving that slavery from debt slavery to subpar crappy products let the people commenting go stand in a landfill barefoot or learn how to fix a cell tower...they don't appreciate what it takes to maintain or make devices they are critical of others on. I'll always prefer dogs & red pandas over humans.
