polymer clay cane 31

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

this flower was a trial of an idea in my head, it's not perfect but I'll keep working on it. keep these scraps because we can make something cute from them which I will show next week. I will also show the week after how to use the scraps in a different way.

I love your translucent designs Katie & I look forward to seeing this cane layered. You're ace at keeping your whites & translucents immaculate while reducing. After 3 years of claying it's still a real challenge - I'm using up an awful lot of alcohol wipes. My second biggest challenge is avoiding cat hairs, I swear they're magnetic!

My videos are not for everyone for sure I make them more for beginners or for people who like watching art being made which I like. I hate the short videos w irritating music i like the ones where people talk. I try to make it where we are like crafting together and just shooting the sh*$ lol I've gained a good family on here always feel free to join my fb group too we have good people on there just be sure to answer all the questions 😉 My Facebook Page Katie's Polymer clay friends facebook.com/groups/589374758258571/

I agree that summer time claying is vastly different than in winter. My first experience with Cernit translucent was this summer and good grief, it was like working with chewed bubble gum!! 🤣😂

While watching this I was thinking that there are no 6 petal flowers in nature so I googled it and there are many flowers that indeed have 6 petals. As a chef, (of 35 years) we were taught that nature is usually made up of odd numbers as far as the structure of the flower goges, mainly because it just looks better. I stand corrected by technology and your clay flower, so thank you for inadvertently correcting an old guy (75 yrs), your tutorials are really cool and informative.

I like all real flowers no matter how many petals they have making polymer clay flowers on the other hand never look right to me when I make them which is why I prefer to make them 6

Hi Katie. I have a suggestion on this cane. I would make the translucent teardrop, cover it hope in the white. Reduce it to a small size then cut in one to two inch lengths. Wrap them in translucent into the large teardrop shape then piece these together to make the circle. I hope this makes sense.

@@katiegordon610 I apologize Katie. I was watching without the sound. Your cane turned out beautifully. I just thought my suggestion would save you a lot of time with fewer steps.

This is the second time I heard you refer to cane caps. Where would you get them? I checked Amazon and it took me to the rubber tips for a walking cane. 😂
