I will pick this up at some point, but like you, in no hurry. Also not crazy about the art they used. My favorite is actually the Eureka original blu-ray box, which i still need to pick up. I had ordered and received damaged and was not able to get again.

Keep an eye on Ebay for that original Eureka release. You might get lucky :)

I always thought that Police Story 2 was a little long and not as well paced as the first so finding the Theatrical Cut on the special features was like 🤯. That is now my definitive version and makes it nearly as good as the first. Plus the 35 mm scan is damaged so it's missing frames and has that Grindhouse look which makes it even better! And it has the original theatrical subs which is cool to see, too. I love this set!

I love both versions, but I know what you mean :) Was a great buy yes. Happy to have finally gotten it!

I have all the stuff there you have except the 4K box because I also have the standard Supercop Eureka blu ray. I also have different vhs tapes of each film both from the New Line company and the laserdisc companion editions from New Line Video. I also have the Towa laserdiscs from Japan and Japanese vhs tapes as well as the Police Force vhs release of Police Story. I have two vcd’s of these films also. I have the Dragon Dynasty dvds and duplicates of the HK dvds and the Kam&Ronson blu rays. I don’t have the HKR blu ray but I suppose I don’t need it at this point unless there was extensive features not included on any of the official blu ray releases. It’s funny how much of a collection you can have of one specific thing. I wasn’t trying to collect all this necessarily but that just happens sometimes. You know what I mean.

Good stuff! There's so many versions and editions for the avid collector. I'm hoping this is my last, but I wouldn't say no to something I haven't got yet lol

I'm kind of mixed on what to get now. I have a 2K(1440P) setup so I'm in-between 1080P and 4K.

The 2K upscaler does the trick. I have one and I love it. But the 4K player was a must and definitely the way to go :)
