This was just the fun video I needed today. THANK YOU!!
Damn! Consider me officially jealous! It would definitely take me a long time to get through all those movies but it would be an enjoyable challenge!
We were happy to have spotted Death List in the background of this video. The movie Death List also features Robert Tai's last appearance in a Kung Fu film along with his ninja's. Thanks for supporting the UK 2007 DVD release Invincible Asia! Keep up the great work! Death List kzread.info/dash/bejne/kaZ2mtmulJremJM.html
Just wanted to add so people don't get the wrong idea; Don't play with Fire was only really cut when it was in theaters. When it was released on HK DVD it had the extra scenes, but they were included in the deleted scenes.
Great set of films/releases. I only wish Eureka/88 got the Tiger Claws trilogy, as it's too expensive on eBay. We also need a Godfrey Ho box set FFS!
Thanks!! There's been quite a lull of Cyndy's US titles here in the UK. So yeah, hopefully soon! And, yes, a Godfrey Ho boxset would be amazing - although huge lol
@@invincibleasiaofficial Let's hope so
The Shout set are superb mister, glad you got hold of them and found a way to get them shipped as both were only available via their website.
Thanks! I'm excited to get stuck into them :)
That’s what you call a package mate 😮
Thanks! It was fun to open :)
Does the the movie play its original soundtrack?
I believe so yes :)
Fun list thx dude 👍🏻
Thanks for watching :)
Why you can't buy a Region A bluray player? I don't get it.
They aren't for sale in UK shops, but I did pick one up online soon after this...
I'm not sure what i think about the film but i love the practical effects
The practical effects are fantastic yes :)
I was hoping they would have done a full set of Shaw Brothers horror and released it through the Scream Factory sub label. Could have included Black Magic 1 & 2, Hex, Bewitched, The Oily Manic and so on.
That would be cool also :) Thanks for watching!
Japanese🇯🇵💂 armies speaks chinese 🇨🇳😅
lol yes, a full HK cast :)
@@invincibleasiaofficial I don't understand
lotsa fun movies - i haven’t seen the contemporary ones … also I think Bastard Swordsman will be on Shawscope 3 so technically you get a bonus movie
Good to know thanks! Would still love to see this collection get out there :)
I wanna see KUNG FU INSTRUCTOR KID FROM KWANTUNG 3 EVIL MASTERS (THE MASTER ) SHAOLIN DAREDEVILS
Thunderclap
Yes, all great movies!!
@@invincibleasiaofficial I just ordered IRON CHAIN ASSASSIN (Ti Lung) from Germany 🇩🇪 seeing ARROW isn’t putting than one ☝️ out.
There are some superb overlooked titles in this list. It's my favourite period for the studio because I think they were just so creative and inventive. Some of the titles have been put out My favourite under appreciated film from their twilight is What price honesty? More people need to see it. Good stuff mister.
Absolutely! Some fantastic films from this period. Yeah, I see Spectrum Films have put a number of them out, but I'd still love one last box from Shout lol Thanks for watching!
I still haven't finished watching vol. 4 even though I've had it since December. I only watched the first movie so far. Can wait for Shawscope vol. 3 from Arrow!
lol it does take a while :) Looking forward to Shawscope 3 myself!
I haven’t heard of any of these, but I’m in for all of ‘em! C’mon, Shout! Give ‘em to us! Great video as usual, sir.
Awesome, thanks for watching!! Let's hope we get something :)
Great List of Titles...... One can only wish 🙏🥋🐉👊🐲☯️‼️‼️‼️
Absolutely!! Just gotta keep poking them :)
Nice you went for 2160p video resolution. 😊
lol oh yes
Is the Blu-ray release the Category III version?
You have both the Cat 3 and Cat 2 versions on the new Blu-ray yes :)
Glad you enjoyed the interviews and you are making progress on the pronounciation of my name with each videos ;-) We covered all of Lee Ho Kwan's collaborations with Tony Liu (I think it's about 2H interview total) so, hopefully, you'll see more of him in future releases!
Awesome stuff and glad to hear!! Excited to see more of him and more of Tony's stuff of course. Great work :)
You don't need google translate for cargo mediabooks. Just open Wikipedia 😂. I hope we'll get a nice set by 88 Films or Eureka with some "real" extras.
lol indeed!! Yes, fingers crossed they do soon enough :)
Way much better than the so called American martial arts Garbage and terrible Hollywood knockoffs courtesy of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, Chuck Norris, Jean claude van damme and Bruce Willis who rely on autoaim when they fire a weapon that cannot hit a target practice and deliver ridiculous punch lines with parody catchphrases
kingjetli
8:00 was he salivating? lol, proper thirsty for physical media like the rest of us.
I was indeed! Happens a lot lol
Couldn't STAND this film. I wanted to like it. I just couldnt
That's a shame. It's quite enjoyable :)
Viva Chiba! Ossu!
He is the man! Thanks for watching :)
Absolute bonkers CAT III crapfest with loads of gratuitous sex and heroic bloodshed action. It was actually released in the year when Donnie Yen made two similar films such as Crystal Hunt (the other Donnie Yen/Sibelle Hu collaboration) and Cheetah On Fire (both co-starring Michael Woods who was not in Holy Virgin funny enough). Haven’t seen Pauline Yeung for a while since her 1990s years I have to admit (she was also a hot star in her TVB works back in the day).
That's right yes. I'm hoping 88 Films follow up with both those titles :) Thanks for watching!
All 6 on amazon
Yes, awesome stuff! Already got my order in thanks :)
After receiving a five-pack this weekend of Fist of Legend, Hsi Shih: Beauty of Beauties, The Valiant Ones, A Queen’s Ransom, and Man on the Brink, I’ll be including this one in my next HK order spree this next weekend’s payday. Never seen it, and I’m super stoked! Amazing KFB artwork.
Good luck! Sounds like a fun week of watching :)

We get it. You're obsessed with 80's & 90's action films.
Waiting for mine to come. Have to say, 88 Films seem to have the best release schedule for 2024, some absolutely awesome stuff. Great video, as usual, George 👍
Hopefully you'll get it soon and enjoy it as much as I did :) Thanks for watching!
Just turned up today for me and unfortunately I’ve got a backlog but I’ve got a backlog of months but I’ve got a backlog at least two weeks before I can get onto this one so yeah seriously looking forward to it. Great video again mate cheers.
You can do it!! :) Thanks for watching!
Flirting scholar is on Apple Store. I believe it’s either 399 or 599.
Cool! I'm hoping that will be on Eureka's radar soon :)
Why is there no classic English dub!
Not too sure, although I never listen to them myself :)
Just copped the collection
Awesome, enjoy!! :)
And now we get Taoism Drunkard and The Young Taoism Fighter! I’m really excited!
Yeah very excited for those. Hope they do Shaolin Drunkard also :)
Makes me wonder what the next crazy HK movie they will release.
I'm glad they're doing random titles as much as mainstream. Hopefully more surprises soon :)
Donnie and Ken Lo were also in Special I.D.
Yeah I totally forgot after I edited my video retrospective :(
Those vhs on the left make me happy 😊 Great film no commentary weird Wild choice of original poster
Thanks, I do love them and go back to them often :) Thanks for watching!
This was batshit insane & i loved it.
It sure is :) Gorgeous upgrade too!
Just got it today can’t wait to see it all these releases are making me poor lol
You'll love it and yes, I know the feeling lol
I just picked this up today. Mine is number 414.
Awesome! Enjoy :)
its really great!!! i watch it for 5 times in hong kong. really enjoy it
It sure is! Me too. Such an amazing movie :)
Slipcover sure look awesome. Is the HK cut, last the same as the original cantonese cut? The original cut is longer, unrated and my favorite one but most countries didn't get that cut because many little things are missing.
It sure does :) The Taiwanese is the longest I believe. This seemed to be the same version as my other releases. Will double check though!!
@@invincibleasiaofficial Yep, the Taiwanese extended version is the best version and sadly all others like Hong Kong, USA, UK, Germany, France & Spain use the theatrical cut version with accelerated fights (±1.3 time if I remember correctly), making them looking exaggerated, almost funny and cartoonish, which is a real shame. I didn't know how to rip movies at the time I saw the Taiwanese extended version or else I would had done it. Instead I ended up importing the HK version in DVD and after buying the Dragon Dynasty BD, which aren't as good as the Taiwanese extended version. I was really deceive. Knowing this 4K is the cut version, is another disappointment.
I think I had the Taiwanese version on bootleg VHS back in the mid 90s. I remember seeing some different bits, so I'm guessing that was it. Such a shame 88 didn't give us the option...
I don't get it, how can Jackie Chan's character recognize Dean Shek's character, and need to be told that he's not the same person, but his twin brother? Apart from this single sequence, the movie is completely unrelated from the first one. Jackie Chan isn't playing Ching Hing-lung, he's Cheng Lung, so how does Cheng Lung know who that undertaker was?
I know right lol My only guess is that perhaps they were initially aiming for a sequel and shot that scene rather early. Then things changed fast. But yeah, always made me laugh :)
This guy has so many enemies in the industry. A much hated figure. Don't be fooled by his fake persona. A true evil piece ofn💩
I really need to pick up that box set. I’ve been wanting a good version of Holy Flame of the Martial World for a looooooong time! Absolutely insane flick.
This was fantastic to see in HD. Worth getting yes :)
WE NEED BOTH SAVIOUR OF THE SOUL MOVIES ON PROPER RESTORED BLU, DAMMIT! Ok, rant over. 😊
Absolutely!! Lets hope 88 do it pretty soon :)
